There are several things that I appreciated about this Handi Foil giant rack roaster. To start with it was delivered well packaged & protected so there was no dents or areas crushed. Personally I like the fact that it is made in the USA and that it's made of 100% recycled aluminum. I have used other giant aluminum rack roasters in the past but this one is thicker and sturdier than others I've tried. For safety reasons I usually place any aluminum roaster on a large cookie sheet and remove the juices with a baster. I roasted a large whole chicken in this giant rack roaster then when finished it cleaned out nicely & I'm able to use it again for my Thanksgiving turkey! I've never been able to do this with any other aluminum roasting pan! I definitely would recommend this!
Received this pan for a review. Good sized roaster pan, will hold a pretty sizeable turkey or ham or whatever you might want to bake/roast in it. The material was thicker than most roaster pans you get at the store. I was able to place a frozen 11.5 ham in it, and it would not crinkle, nor fold in half like most you come across. Would definitely purchase this again in the future. Looking forward to cooking that ham in it soon!
This aluminum large turkey foil pan is so sturdy that after one use in the oven I washed it and I'm able to use it again. I actually do not like single use products but after testing this out I can say that I can reuse this. I had no problem taking it in and out of the oven while it was hot and it didn't dent I'm happy with this product and I would recommend this to my family and friends.
I got this Handi-Foil Eco-Foil Giant Rack Roaster Pan to use to cook a picnic ham over an open fire at the campground. Just perfect! However, I always use these Handi-Foil pans when making a big dinner usually for the holidays. They are inexpensive and make clean up a breeze and being disabled I'm always looking for shortcuts. I will definitely purchase one for Thanksgiving to roast my turkey. Used along with a cooking bag, your turkey is going to be moist and flavorful with minimal effort. I've used foil pans for years. Not only for camping. Highly recommend for upcoming holidays.
This Handi-Foil Eco-Foil Giant Rack Roaster Pan is great! It is a great size to roast/bake your Turkey. I used it to bake my Turkey and it fit it well. It was a pretty big Turkey. I love these foil pans by Handi-foil. They come in so many different sizes and for different purposes. I use them all the time. Great for a no mess clean up too! I love them! Will definitely buy more and I highly recommend these!
This roasting pan is extra large (see the photo) and should fit most large turkeys. Pan Size: 16 in. x 13 1/8 in. x 3 1/8 in. (40.6 cm x 33.3 cm x 7.9 cm). It is heavy weight, but you should always lift this pan from the bottom when there is a bird in there. IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO LIFT THIS PAN FROM THE SIDES - It is heavy weight, but it's a disposable pan. And if there is a lot of liquid in the pan you will want to remove as much as possible before lifting out of the oven. An added bonus is that it is made from 100% recycled aluminum and it could actually last you for several roastings. It actually shipped without any damage.
The Handi-foil Giant Rack Roaster is a great product. It is large enough for most any meal. It measures sixteen inches long by thirteen and an eighth inches wide at its widest and is three and an eighth inches deep. I use these all the time for roasting turkeys, hams, casseroles or just throwing a large salad in them. They are inexpensive; usually under two dollars and can be reused if you want or just rinse them out and recycle them. I used one recently for a church Sunday school get together and made a large salad in it. After I got home I washed it and now I will use it to cook my Thanksgiving ham in. There are many different brands out there but I feel the Handi-foil brand is the thickest, is good quality, made well and most importantly to me is it is made in the United States of America. As with all these pans, if you are cooking something heavy, such as a spiral ham or turkey, make sure and support the bottom of the pan. Sometimes I can grab the adges and pick it up that way and it is fine. Other times I feel it start to bend so I support the bottom. Anyway, it is easy to use and saves wash time so you can enjoy more family time. I usually throw the leftovers in it, cover it with foil and put it in the fridge for another day.
This handi-foil giant rack roaster is sturdier than I thought it would be. It does not actually come with a rack, the bottom of the pan has raised portions to let juices flow. I measured the inside bottom of the pan which is 14 inches. I don't think a large turkey would be safe unless you take precautions. It does say to never hold the filled pan by the sides. You must support the bottom and remove all the juices before taking it out of the oven. I would suggest putting this foil pan on a cookie sheet to help support the bottom.
This is a large foil roasting pan. Its sturdy and will hold a large turkey, ham or sizeable roast. I'm using mine for my Thanksgiving turkey. I can even add additional stuffing/dressing around the bird, since the pan is so roomy! Its also nice and deep.
