I was interested in the footed angelfood pan w removable bottom. I thought I would crack up laughing at the horrific cake they show as advertising. No one would ever buy this pan if the splotchy crumb is what it renders! Me thinks it's something else.
I like this product because this pan has feet so when flipped upside down, it holds the cake up off the plate.
