(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We bought our induction range about 8 months ago. We love the induction. The heat is very precise and more eco-friendly than gas. The double oven is great if you have big family dinners and need to bake multiple things at once. There is a fan that comes on when the oven is on, and it stays on for a while after. We don't really notice it because of the activity in the kitchen and we usually have some music on during dinner. It is noticeable when it's quiet, but it's white noise. We haven't tried all of the features yet, but are very happy with our range. And it looks great in our newly renovated kitchen.
I bought my stove over a month ago . Waiting for my replacement because of a flaw in painted spray liner in top oven . I was bummed out the whole stove had to be replaced but happy there doing it . Was told it would take a while! but I wanted a new in box one. not the appliance stores display for same price is what I was offered . Well it's only been one day I found out they're replacing it. we will see how long it takes. 11/17/2021 so far you get five stars because I love my stove.
I remodeled kitchen and choose the stove. I had to get used to the bottom oven slide out shelf. First time I used I flipped a pan of potatoes on to the floor of the oven. The clean up was relatively easy. I am more careful now. I have had trouble with the timer need better directions for some of the features.
I love the looks of my vinyl white finish, compared to the dull stainless finish. It's such a classy appliance. The controls on the top surface make it so easy and the speed of the burners is astounding. I hope my promo set of cookware come soon, so I can do more cooking. Living alone, the smaller top oven is a real asset, saving the bigger lower one for baking cookies.
We love our new induction range. It is amazingly fast and precise in it's temp control. We use our smaller top oven daily and both ovens cooked a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Oven temps were also precise and convection baked evenly. It is quite and very easy to clean.
My wife loves it. It's expensive, but she says it's her dream stove and it's energy efficient. I bought it because I love my wife.
I bought this a month ago and love all the benefits of using an induction range. The double oven has halved my baking time. I am happy with the look and performance of this range. My only complain is the position of the burner controls on the cooktop . They are very sensitive to the slightest touch , so anything accidentally falling on them will change the setting. This means a spoon, or part of a cookware placed on the control panel, or even a drop of water falling from my hands or washed produce may change the heat setting of the burners or even turn the cooktop off. I have to be vigilant about keeping the control panel clean as a layer of grease makes the panel unresponsive .
Just purchased . Spill from. Yam has left mark on Porcelain , manual says high heat can cause stains and pitting so how does the self clean cycle work ? Nothing will get it off
Hello, well first the good. This stove can boil a quart of water in 90 seconds.. I did not believe it at first but tried it and yes.. it did. And now the problems, Mostly it is a bad design 1) The controls for the cook top. are about an inch away from the cook surface. Now heat is not a problem. but any spill is. Here is why. This glass touch control, will go into a safety mode if it senses anything on top of it. So if you take a tray of cookies out of the oven and place it on top of the stove.. I will turn off all the elements, and then beep at you until you remove it.. It will also do this if there is any liquid on the surface. Which must be dried up before the cook top can be restarted. The first time I used this stove I boiled up some eggs. when you do this.. there is a very small amount of spatter as would happen with any egg boil. However if the control is so close to the element, that the spatter gets onto the controls and the entire cook top shuts down and begins to beep 2) When you are using the upper broiler, there is no indication of the temperature, you can set it for a temp, and then the only indication of the temp is when it is at the set temp by a beep. This feature would be nice because sometimes you say set it for 400'F and when you see it at 380'F .. you throw your what ever in 3) There is a timer that is associated with the cook top control panel.. the panel that is the troublesome one in the middle of the cook top, at the front. It is just that. a egg timer.. it does not control anything. It would be nice if it controlled the elements 4) The metal surface on the front edge of the cook top is very very soft metal.. (What they now call, smudge free Stainless) it is so soft that after a few months of sliding pots and pans on it.. it is very badly scratched (See photo) 5) When you set the timer on the oven, and it has reached zero.. it will beep until , well until forever. until you open the door and close the door. The incessant beeping of this range is very annoying 6) The vent for the ovens is blowing right on the cooktop, staining it every single time you use the oven 7) The self cleaning feature on the stoves are unsuccessful in the two times I have tried it
So, I am not one to write reviews. But after my experience with buying this particular oven off the internet not seeing it in person I feel the need to let the people know what they are getting into!!! While the induction and convection are really cool aspects this stove is NOT something you want to deal with on a daily basis. Let us get this straight, I Cook! I Cook A Lot! I Bake! I Bake A Lot! This oven should have a row of Asterix to warn buyers from buying. First, let us start with the most annoying part and the most obvious once you get it home and try to cook your first meal....The main oven compartment and door are SUPER DUPER LOW!!! Picture Added! I mean who did you make this for a 5 year old?? Have you ever tried to cook a roast in a 7qt dutch oven and put in in and pull it out of an oven literally 3 inches off the floor??? My lower back will not allow me to keep this monstrosity!! My first use I actually was making some banana bread. Because of how low the oven is I hit the heating element with my pan and spilled the batter all over! Well there went that bread! Second, is the "smart" convection option. There is no way to turn this off (that I have found). I know how to use a convection oven and this thing is totally ruining my math and recipes already made in convection ovens. I know a new oven has phases to work out. I know you have to figure out how this particular oven will act. I know there will be hot spots and breezy areas. This "smart" feature really is dumbing down a great technology! Third, the top oven. Really what is this thing any good for? Making a frozen pizza be both burnt and still frozen at the same time? Check! Burning anything you try to put in there? Check! Whether on bake or broil it will be burned on the top! It will omit a horrible smell and be cold on the bottom! Third point Five, the top/bottom oven. Because we have included this portion which in some thoughts could possibly work. The bottom oven is not big enough for most of the pots and pans I use! And I have added a picture of where I have to have the racks positioned to get my dutch oven in there. Good luck trying to cook more than one tray or pot of anything in there! Fourth, the controls on the top. After using this for a few days you will come up with the knowledge that it is a very out spoken oven. All it wants to do is beep at you. But the problem is it doesn't beep at the appropriate times! You can't hear the timer. But don't you dare leave something sitting close to one of the buttons on top, it will beep incessantly until you come move the object away from the controls. And these controls....They don't work if you happen to have wet hands. Also if a pot may boil over some water bubbles it will hit the controls and turn off the burners.... Fifth, the induction top. This actually is the least of my worries. But it is not even and consistent as you would expect in an induction top. The burners make some really weird noises. Some are louder than others. Also I have found that the burners are not consistent. For example if I try to melt butter on the back burner it may take 1.5 minutes one day but 5 mins the next. Why? It is the same product on the same burner, should take the same amount of time within a reasonable range. Nope!
