I love the camera. It is small enough to fit in a pocket, but takes great pictures. I am not a photographer by any shakes, so I need a camera that is super easy to operate. This camera is pretty easy.

Pleased my VERY picky son! If it can make him happy, it will make you happy! Used it for many Easter pictures and they turned out great.
when I first got this camera, I took great pictures with it, and I thought about it, and it probably was because they were all outside, and they didn't need much adjusting...recently, now that it's winter, I've been taking pictures inside for holidays and such, and the camera takes forever to focus, (some pictures are still even snapped and are wayyyyy out of focus) and the auto scene detection is not very accurate at times either, some pictures turn are snapped very dark, when flash is on and was not blocked in any way. it's a great for point and shoot outdoors, but i would not recommend use indoors...takes way too long to get one good picture
I got this camera on black Friday last year for only seventy bucks. I was very happy with how it looked but for how high the mega pixels were the pictures weren't of the best quality. Also I carried it in my purse without the case and the screen broke so now I'm waiting until next black Friday to buy one of the higher quality cameras hopefully at a good price. It also requires a special expensive memory card and won't use generic ones like some other cameras do so take that into consideration as well.
Mines a little diff. i have the 14.1 pink sony cyber shot. I go to concerts. I was looking for a new camera to take pics there and take pics of my twin nieces. i love the speed in which it takes pics, but the zoom is not very good and the clarity isnt either. It does take good vid. i love how small it is about the with and lenght of a credit card so its easy to carry in a pocket. The reason i wont recommend this. most people take pics from far away and this just wont do. I will be taking this back
I bought a new camera but got a used camera. The camera box's seal was broken . The camera had scratches and dust on it . Other equipment also had dust.
It doesn't take very good pictures and I had trouble downloading the pictures to the camera. The color seemed off on the photos I took. Will be returning it tomorrow.
Today I bought the DSC-W310 12.1 mega pixel to replace my functional 7.1 mega pixel Kodak EasyShare C703 camera. After taking numerous comparison photographs from both cameras, a noted difference existed between the two. All the Sony's photos appeared in need of focus while the lesser Kodak camera produced crisp clear photos. Total of 45 pictures from each camera were taken in different modes of operation. Big disappointment with the Sony camera.
