[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I remodeled my entire kitchen and bought all Kitchen Aid appliances. I love the gas cooktop. I love that it delivers the heat evenly and turns down when you need it, you don't have to wait for an electric element to cool down. I am very happy with this purchase. Also I love the 5 burners .
My husband and I bought this about a month ago and I simply LOVE this unit. I went from an older electric cooktop to this beautiful piece of equipment. I have had no issues with this and I am completely satisfied with the performance. You won't regret purchasing this unit!
Finally have our remodel done and the best part fir last, Great Appliances!!!!
Love this gas cooktop Easy to control level of gas, and the large middle burner is ample space for my oblong Le Cruset 8 qt. pot!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new Kitchen Aid Stovetop! I especially love the center burner which can bring something to a boil and then turn it down for a perfect simmer. My first dish was a risotto which turned out perfect. Cooktop also looks amazing & professional. Best purchase ever!!
I had a Kitchen redo...have never cooked on gas and I just love it....especially when you turn it off...it's off...unlike an electric stove.
We have thoroughly enjoyed this cook top. It heats up super fast and cooks nicely! It is also very nice looking as well, so that's a plus!
My new KitchenAid gas Cooktop has renewed my love for cooking. I love the versatility of the five burners as well as how evenly it cooks my food.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this Kitchenaid cooktop for about 1 month. The orifices for each burner were a problem from the beginning. The package came apart in shipping during October, therefore we could not match the orifice with the correct burner during our construction installation in December. We had to reorder the package of orifices. After a plumber and then a warranty tech adjusted them in December (prior to use), the orifices are finally installed correctly for propane use. The burner knobs have very light indicators for igniting and heat strength. Why these dial indicators are so light or faded is a mystery?? The cooktop stainless surface is hard to get clean using a damp cloth or stainless steel cleaner. Streaks are common. It takes wiping, then cleaning, then more cleaning to try to get it almost streak free. I'm not a messy cook, and I've had gas cooktops in the past that were not this difficult to clean and maintain. The burner covers slide off the registers too easily. They do not solidly or snuggly fit and stay on the register if you have to clean around or wipe past a burner. Iv'e been cooking on an Induction cooktop for about 6 years, and it is much easier to clean and maintain.
Very dangerous!!! A practically new cooktop. Cannot control the flame at all!! One burner has flames coming out at 4-5 inches. Other ones just very high and cannot get it to low. Plus on one, one side of flame is higher than another. I used to love cooking. Now I hate it, I have 5 friends who are either redoing their kitchen or building and because of me they will not purchase a kitchen aid gas top. Someone needs to come to the house and fix this!!!
