Found same as per the given description & as displayed at the website, installation is a bit technical, but, if you follow the given instructions you will be able to install conveniently, all accessories & installation material was adequately provided.
Purchased this desk before Christmas. My daughter who has the brains in the family put it together in less than an hour. I love it. It has sufficient work space and also drawer is large enough for equipment. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Also Canada Post was great in delivering it.
Really nice looking, easy to put together. Great value for the price. I like the fact that it has an open hinge drawer in front I can slide my laptop in for storage.
I needed a specific sized desk, and this is it. Sturdy, attractive and fits my needs to a "T". It arrived in three days - FREE shipping! You have to assemble it, but the instructions are great.
Bought this about a month ago to sit in the kitchen for laptop and kids homework. I put it together myself in an afternoon (3 hours) and is sturdy when assembled. Gave three stars because the latch for the drawer was plastic and garbage. Worked for about 2 hours when stopped holding. Would have had to return it if we couldn't replaced it with a magnetic latch that now works wonderfully! I am now very happy with it after the modifications and would purchase again as the new magnet was easy to put on.
Desk was fairly simple to assemble. There were a few scratches & chipped paint on a corner. Also some missing holes that should have been drilled in for the sliding drawer. Will be fine for my 7 yr. old.
I was a bit disappointed that this desk was not sturdier but I suppose that's fairly typical for this type of item/material & cost. One of the side peices did come with a scratch but there is touch up paint that semi covered it...I did not receive the package until 2 days after the expected delivery date (Christmas Eve) that was flaunted all over the website, causing an issue since it's a gift. Not sure if this is the fault of Walmart or fedex...assembly was a pain! But again, thats fairly typical for a fiberboard, assembley required, semi cheap desk. As long as you realize that's what this desk is & have the appropriate expectations you should be fine with it
After receiving the desk I got as far as putting together the very drawer and paint want already chipping off corners. Three parts broke with the slightest touch and I ended up having to take it back. This is my second desk I have had to return to Walmart because of damages and parts. I really liked the look of this desk though. Bummer!
Easy to put together, but was very unhappy with the finish. Edges of the piece were scuffed. The drawer is a drop down for a keyboard, which I was unaware, so the drawer is not solid and has a huge gap in the back for cords, but that's not what I wanted or expected. This piece did come with all the right parts, but the front of the desk is scratched and looks cheap. For what I spent, its unacceptable. I put this in my childs room. I assume it WILL NOT wear well.
It took me 4 hours to put this together. The black and white instructions lacked major details, and a photo of what the desk should look like assembled was not included. Additionally, the drawer sticks continuously and the front of the drawer pops open for no reason. I eventually removed the "clasps" that were supposed to hold the front of the drawer shut and super-glued the front of the drawer to the sides. The drawer is useless. If it weren't for the fact that I threw the box out and that the desk weighs about 75 pounds, I would have returned it. Definitely, not worth the money. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS MANUFACTURER!
