Originally codenamed Del Mar, the Oculus Quest 2 is around 20% lighter and 15% smaller than its predecessor, the Oculus Quest, with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, improving on the 72 Hz of the original Quest. The Oculus Quest 2 can be connected to a PC via Oculus Link, which can be performed using the official Link cable or a third party USB-C cable. This allows the headset to be used to run content from SteamVR and the desktop Oculus store. Note that a high-bandwidth USB specification USB 3.0 at a minimum is required to achieve a high-quality and smooth picture. Alternatively, the Quest 2 can be used to play PC VR content wirelessly via use of Oculus' AirLink.
