I bought this for my kids 3rd birthday party after finding out that renting a slide was the same cost. Based on the positive reviews I gave this one a shot and was not disappointed. The kids loved it and even the parents were impressed. It's fairly easy to set up and the included blower motor inflates it in minutes. It's pretty big....ample enough for 3, 4, and 5 year old kids. Taking it down is as simple as turning off the blower and it instantly defaltes. I have not had a chance to pack it away in the included storage bag. Bottom line: this is a great water slide, especially for the money. You will not be disappointed.
It was a decision between the water slide or passes to the local water park. So glad we got the slide! We've used it almost every day so far with 3-5 smaller kids at a time and they love it! Easy to put up and take down too. It seems to be pretty durable as well. I expect it to last at least a couple summers if not more.
I was nervous to buy this slide cause my kids are on the older side -- 7.5 and I was worried it would be too babyish -- not so! they love this slide and their friend who is a year older this weekend was over and loved it too. I even went down once! The bucket thing sticks sometimes so that's a little annoying, but nothing major. You do have to dry it out before you put it away so that's a little bit of a hassle, but you would have to do that with any slide. Inflated great, lots of fun.
I bought this slide for my kids, 3 and 8 last summer. With us being on our second summer owning this slide it has held up pretty good. There was a tear in the seam at the base of the stairs. In all honesty I am surprised that is the only tear that this slide got. Every time we put up the slide the neighbor kids come over to play so there is always 4 to 5 kids playing at any given time. Ages range from 3 to 10. I would suggest you do not allow more than one child at a time at the top of the slide, it is safer that way. My 3 year old was a little scared at first but after going down a few time she got the hang of it and now I can't get her off of it. My 8 year old loved it from day one. He is your typical boy, he runs fast and plays hard. This slide has endured a lot of abuse and has held up wonderfully. We use it almost every weekend and we live in FL so we get to use it longer than most. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is it is a little bit of a hassle to put away. It takes a long time to dry out and then it never folds back to size. During the summer months I store mine on the back porch. It is pretty easy to set up after the first time or 2. Overall a great slide for your family big or small.
This product is definitly the kid pleaser..we got it a few weeks ago and since the weather broke had it up three times...easy set up and take down...pretty strong material ...wish it was cheaper but really worth the money
We bought this today after much thought about which Banzai to buy................all the decent sized ones are so expensive $$$$$!!! Overall, we are happy with our purchase. We paid $50 less at Walmart than other big name stores that have it also. I have to kids, ages 5 & 6), and they both loved it.
It was great for the first hour, then then was a hole in it. So sad. Hopefully they will take it back. I will try another one. If my second one works, definitly, I would recommend to a friend.
Would use for small children. My 10 year old could reach the top of the crawl space from the bottom of it. The size is not what I thought it would look like. We even measured it out on the grass before we got the slide. Over all kids had fun.
Purchased the slide as a birthday gift for my nephews opened it set it up and found it to be defective I called the Banzai Co's 800# which was stamped on every item (DON'T RETURN TO STORE) that should have spoke volumes.... After the rep tried to convince me he was my only option I desided to return it direct to Walmart direct which thanks for the Banzai rep's false sales pitch sent me back to Walmart and was a very easy process. Moral of the story the product looks fun! Walmart shouldn't allow any manufacturer to stamp instructions all over it's defective products not to notify the selling store and act like they are the only option for both their customers. If the product you ordered is defective from the minute received it the is not what is considered warranty it's considered defective and they should not act like they are doing you a favor to possibly help on there terms. Thanks, JR
I usually do not do reviews but after receiving this product I felt I needed too. After receiving the product fairly quickly which was the only plus, I put up the slide and was disappointed in the size. I thought it would have been a little taller for the 8-9 year olds. While kids were playing I noticed the pool was not holding water properly and upon inspection I noticed the pool and slide were not put together at the seam. There was a hole where the pool overlaps with the slide. Needless to say I returned it. For the price it should have put together a lot better. Had some very disappointed kids!
