I recently purchased the Dome Security Camera to fill in an uncovered area at my home. Fitted perfectly with my other cameras and now I am completely covered.
Does the job that I got it for. Plug and play install. Fitted in very neat. Thank you.
I bought this camera to supplement the other cameras on my system and cover a blind spot. Camera connected to my Swann system easily and works well
I have a 16 channel receiver and I only had 10 cameras so this makes 11 for the system. it's as clear as it gets and all my other cameras are 1080 so this works perfectly. i would buy this camera again.
Quick delivery and no problem getting it installed and online. As it was a replacement it was just plug and play. Very happy with it.
Add on camera to my NVR8580 system. Initially the system would not recognize the camera. Carl from Swann advised me my MVR firmware needed updating and walked me thru the process. It takes a few hours to get thru the process but in the end the camera functions as expected. Be aware that the firmware updates will change your NVR menu and there is a learning curve to this. I strongly advise reviewing the Swann site for "locating your firmware version" and, if it's not the 2020 version, review the "updating your NVR firmware" advisory to see if you're up to the task.
The colour is natural, the low light sensitivity is superb, I just wish that it were available in wider angle.
This camera does not support PID,LCD,SOD only supports person and vehicle as part of the analytics. I cannot view from my mobile with the app as there is no way to set up mobile streaming on the setup program as itts all greyed out. I will email Swann for a response and update the review when I have an answer.
I purchased this camera and realised it was not compatible with my system, swan support said, they would send instruction with in 24hrs to send it back, and would refund, I have had no instruction after 2 weeks, contacting again they now say they will not refund as the item has been opened. I am going to take this further with the backing of my credit card and financial ombudsman
the camera does not work it one is faulty flickers on and off the quality is poor i would say do not purchase swan cameras they are like having 720 version no where near 4k as advertised very disappointed they just do not have the quality as advertised night vision ok ish in black white however color day time shocking so disappointed
