The coffee stays hot in the mug for a long time. I got this mainly for camping. However I found myself using it at home when cooking breakfast on the griddle in the mornings. I have also made ice coffee in this and it keeps it cold as well. I will definitely have to get another for family members. Think this would make a perfect gift.
