This is a beautiful dresser that my daughter who is 5 love it. I got it for her. She is In her own room. She watched her dad pull it together and was happy every minute about it. She was ready to put it in her room which is upstairs. I help dad move it upstairs for her. She started right away putting things on it. Like her doll and bubble gum machine and cup. It have a lot of space for her clothes.I can put all the clothes that been in her two small dresser. And it still has room and one more draw to fill up. I so glad I pick this product and I will recommend it to anyone who is interested in buying one
Very pleased with the quality of this product. It is exactly as expected. There was a small blemish on the side of the dresser but nothing major that a little touch up cant fix and nothing to throw a fit about. Dresser is very sturdy and pleased for the price. We purchased the entire cambridge set for our nursery and are happy with our decision.
When I received this dresser the very first thing I noticed was the weight, over 88lbs. I decided to put it together on a Sunday afternoon. There were a lot of pieces and parts, all of which were well labeled. The dresser pieces were labeled with single alphabets, and the screws and bolts were labeled with double alphabets. Every piece and part matched with the booklet instructions. It took me about 2 hours to put it all together, but I must add I have put a lot of things together over the years, and even though I took my time with this, it was one of the best and easiest directions to follow. After finishing it I have to say the drawers are spacious, the dresser itself is very well made. It is simply very strong and sturdy, just as advertised. Length is 361/2 inches width is 19 inches, height is 34 inches. The drawers slide back and forth with ease. I did have to move the drawers around to get that perfect fit, but the directions suggest doing that. It looks just like the picture. It also has a safety feature you can attach which is an added plus for smaller children. My son simply loves this dresser, and I must say I would highly recommend it. This is truly an item that is everything it claims to be.
I was surprise with the color, because the picture shows rustic brown & the dresser is rustic grey, but I just changed the color of room & it fit right in! I love the heavyness so it will last a long time & not break-up easy! It's was a great choice! Thank-You!
Love the clean look of this dresser. Is very versatile and can fit great with any nursery, kids room or any corner you want to make usable. This is not the first piece we have for my baby boy from Delta Children and have no complains pn how well everything is made.
This dresser is perfect for my daughter's room! I love the rustic white. It could go in any room! It was very easy to put together and the quality is great. I highly recommend this for any child's room!
Love this dresser! We have it in white and it's so perfect for my sons nursery. Bright white color, drawers slide easily, I love the way it looks in his bedroom.
Takes a while to put together. They went heavy on screws and such for connecting parts together which is not a bad thing. Overall the dresser weighs a ton. Since this is day 1 I can not tell you of its longevity yet, but it is very solid in its build.
Let me begin my review by telling you that an inexperienced person would NOT be able to follow the directions. They seem simple enough; however, for some reason, this was difficult for a beginner to assemble. The good thing is that an experienced furniture-putter-together person had minimal difficulty. That being said, the dresser itself is nice looking. I have the darker brown finish, which is smooth, even and handsome. A kid could rub their little hands across this piece and not get splinters or scrapes. The frame pieces of this dresser are extremely sturdy, as is the top piece. They are very heavy and well made. The drawers are of a more plywoodie type material. They fit into their spaces very well, for the most part. Unlike the picture on the box, I put the drawer with a groove down the middle (making it look like 2 drawers from the outside) in the bottom slot because, frankly, it didn't fit very well in the top slot. The drawers fit in their slots (but you must fool around and discover which slot is best for which drawer) quite securely and they open and close easily and smoothly. It is a heavy piece of furniture, even without the drawers, which tells me it is well made. All three (3) drawers are an awesome size; I can fit a boy's entire wardrobe in this dresser...with room left over for diaries, special trinkets and other keepsakes from his life. Again, the top piece has a beautifully smooth finish and the size is awesome (18.5" x 37"). Currently, this sturdy dresser is holding a huge fish tank of the same measurements and the tank is filled 1/3 of the way with water, a rock, plants and a medium sized turtle! I would definitely recommend this piece because, truthfully, I can't find anything totally wrong with it; however, I do wish the drawers were a tad heavier and they all fit in the slots as sturdy as the bottom one. I don't think anyone would be sorry buying this; just make sure the person who assembles it knows what they're doing (it'll get done a lot quicker that way!).
I got the Delta Cambridge 3 drawer dresser in rustic grey. Overall I was not satisfied, but I will start with the good. Putting it together was not difficult as the instructions are very clear cut. All the pieces were there with even some spare parts which many thing don't come with so that is a positive. It took my husband and I about an hour to put it together but we stopped in between a few times. The finish of the rustic grey is nice and I like it better than oak color. It has a rustic look like it is scratched in places but it really is not, so that is true to its rustic name. The dresser itself is a nice size, the width is larger than the one we had but this one has 3 drawers and our old one had 4 but this one still seems to fit more than our previous one which is what we needed. The top drawer has a line down the center which makes it appear that it is 2 seperate drawers on top but it is not, it is just an accent but it looks nice like that. The knobs are sturdy and large so it's easy to grip to open and close. I also like that unlike other dressers we have had there is a support bar under the center on each drawer to prevent and sagging with weight which usually happens over time so that should extend the life of these drawers. Each drawer fits a good amount of clothes, I transfered all my sons clothes from our 4 drawer dresser and it all fits in this dresser with room to spare! So in conclusion, the putting together and the look of it I like but the issue was 2 out of the 3 drawers were not squared right when made so we are left with 2 drawers sticking out almost half an inch out of the left side of each drawer which makes it look uneven when looking at the dresser itself. We tried to fix it but it's just not working so it's noticeable which you can see in the photos and really bugs someone with OCD like me. It is not a cheap dresser so I would expect things to be made properly with the occasional mistake but 2 drawers in one set makes me skeptical to ever purchase another Delta product because no one should have to try to fix a brand new item on day one and unfortunately we have been unable to figure out how to square these drawers. If you get one that was made properly then you'd probably be happy with it as the quality of the wood and overall look of the dresser itself is very nice. I would recommend this to a friend as I do feel my experience is a rare occurrence (hopefully). I included 2 photos of the dresser, one photo was taken with flash and one was taken without flash so one looks darker and one looks brown. The actual color of the rustic grey is the photo that has all the drawers closed if that helps.
