I shopped around and read lots of reviews and chose this camera because (1) I loved my older Kodak easy share, along with the software; (2) there is nothing better than having a simple delete button instead of going through menus, (3) the wide angle lens and the feature of stitching 3 photos together into a 180 degree panaromic are fun for sightseeing; (4) the LCD screen is huge.
This camera is great. The price was good too! Everywhere else I looked this camera was about $350. It takes beautiful pictures, its easy to use and there are tons of cool different features. For this price, I think the EasyShare V570 is the best camera available. Buy it. You won't be disappointed!
This is my second camera and works excellently the pictures are nice and clear and video is nice too cause you can zoom in.I think theres alot of shooting modes so thats good.It worked nicely at my sisters wedding! This camera is for you and isnt at all difficult to figure out i didnt even need the manual.
This camera is easy to use and you can figure out how to use it even without the instructions. It takes excellent pictures and fits in your pocket or purse.
my husband, who's an architect, wanted this camera for the wide angle lens, but still easy to carry around b/c it's compact. very easy to stitch together panorama shots - camera feature. as others have commented, downside is that it's easy to accidentally get a finger into the shot, and also battery life is short. but a spare battery only costs $20. it'd be nice if walmart sells spare batteries too. walmart definitely had the best price, esp. the $10 extra bundle for two 1-gig SD cards.
it is a great camera if u don't want to take professional pictures...i do love it, but if you zoom in it gets blurry and the pixels in the camera start to go out also....as a temporary camera or your first buy..i love it....if your looking for one that will do a perfect job...this one doesn't do that.
I would and have recommended the V570 and any other Kodak camera to all my freinds. They can't beleive the amazing prints I get with a Kodak.
I bought this camera because it was on clearance at my walmart..I luv the fact that you can record video w/sound, and I like how wide the lenses are...I don't like the fact that when I upload the pictures to my comp they don't always come out as clear as other cameras. (here are pics i took with it)
The features are great. My daugther enjoys using it and give her pleasure taking pictures . I' like to order another one for me but for same or reduce price.
We purchased the camera using online. We had examined a variety of cameras with similar capabilities and opted for the Kodak. We also got a 2-gig memory stick for it. We used it at a recent outdoor event, taking a wide range of pictures that included panorama and close-ups using the default 5mp resolution setting. The pictures came out beautifully sharp and clear. And not a red eye in the whole bunch! We love it.
