[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff works really well and smells Ahhhmazing! I have a pixie cut with fine hair and Mizani Sculpting paste helps make my hair look really textured and fun. It doesnt weight it down or make it look oily with is a huge PLUS! Also, other products I've used leave gross flakes in my hair, but this stuff doesn't. I definitely recommend it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't usually spend much time on my hair. I rarely use products so I was hesitant to try any sprays, gels or pastes. However, my short swing bob needed a little something. It always looks great coming out of the salon and I feel that I fail at keeping up that look I love so much. Until now and so I have to share. Mizani's lived-in sculpting paste was surprisingly light and gave my layered bob a textured natural look. Bonus that it also smells good, but I found it easy to use even as someone who rarely makes an effort to style hair. It felt more like a cream than a sticky gel or spray. It didn't leave a sticky residue on my hands as I half expected. It went into my hair easily and felt airy instead of heavy. I tried several styles: layered messy look, neat stacked bob, slicked back 1920's look, and pinned back. I am pleasantly (and also, surprisingly) delighted and Mizani, who I admittedly had never heard of before trying out the sculpting paste, has gained my trust and business.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] as someone who has fine, thin hair, i don't generally use product because it weighs my hair down, but because i frequently color my hair, i have a ton of fly aways so i was looking for something to tame those. the scent was decent, not overwhelming at all and it was easy to get just a little on my fingers and apply. even my novice self was able to rock it! loving Mizani Lived-In sculpting paste!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a great product for all hair length and types. I have a chin length textured bob and natural loose curls. My 12 year old has curls and a pompadour, the Mizani paste keeps our curls in check and adds great volume. I will purchase more when my jar runs out, as we have been searching for a product like this for a while, as all the half used containers under my sink can attest to.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked MIZANI Lived-In Sculpting Paste. It made my hair style more defined and very smooth. I have short hair which i usually will either use a curling iron or flat iron. This left my hair beautiful and I will continue to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think I found a new solution for my hair. My hair is normally extremely frizzy and wavy. I don't normally have the time to put all these different products in my hair being a mom to a 5 year old toddler as well as a 10 month old and I don't like using a straightening iron. Mitzani not only smells good (which is a big plus) but it also tamed the frizziness in my hair with out adding the crustiness, stiffness, or dryness to it. It also added a little bit of shine to my hair which is nice.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so in love with this product! It's impossible to find a product that works well with fine, thin hair that get's oily by the end of the day so I normally don't use a product at all. A little of this product goes a long way. Applied to the roots of my hair while damp, I blow dried hair with large brush and got a soft lift that lasted all day. Product leaves a light clean scent and holds all day long. Absolutely love this product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I think this product is okay. I have natural curly slightly thick hair, think 4a, 4b. When I felt the product on my fingers I thought it would work for me because of the soft but thick texture. I tried the product on my edges and to also slick down my short hair. I did not upload any pictures because the hold didn't last very long. My hair frizzed back up within about 15 minutes. I like the texture of the product and for a different hair type, it would be a strong molding/holding product. The reason I ultimately gave it 3 stars is because I do not like that the product is highly flammable, and that it did not do a great job at sculpting my hair type, even after following the directions and watching videos. If it had held for over 30 minutes I would have given it 4 stars, but even my trusty silk scarf couldn't help the product lay my hair..
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try out Mizani sculpting paste when I first opened the product. I have had difficulty finding a new product since my favorite one was discontinued. The first time that I put the paste on to my hair, I found that it left things looking clumpy up front, in my bangs, and it didn't seem to do anything for the rest of my head. As the day went on, I found that the clumpy look disappeared, but things seemed greasy. I decided to experiment with the amount of paste that I tried, only to find similar results each time. When I tried less paste,I discovered that the piecey look that I was trying to achieve, fell out and just looked like I hadn't done anything within a few hours. Overall, I like the look that I can achieve with Mizani, but only from a distance or in pictures. When I see the style up close, I feel self conscious and worried about the greasy look.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the product would be perfect if it didn't look and feel like an oily powder. I placed it on my edges and all it did was leave a white residue, making my kinky afro hair look like it was dirty. It did smell very nice though, but don't 6th think I would go out an buy the product.
