This unit is going to be my backup. The other unit same model is going on its 18 year. If I could get 1/2 of that on my 2nd one I would be happy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with the cooling capability. My house is about 1700 square ft & this 25,000 BTU window AC cools almost my entire house. I did need to add additional support as the included supports were not compatible with my window frame.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our first Frigidaire about 8 years ago for a very large “man cave” room. Reviewer called this 25,000 BTU unit a snowball thrower. So we decided to purchase. It is very efficient, throws a lot of cold air and cools a large area, actually almost 3-4 rooms. It lasted 8 years and had to replace it. It would have lasted longer if we had taken better care. We installed an awning for weather protection after about 3-4 years, I highly recommend an awning to extend the unit life!!

I have to central AC unit in my warehouse and was not sure why this one was installed through the wall. Good decision to replace the old version when it stopped working as one of my central AC broke and it took 3 weeks to replace it. During that time this unit plus the other central AC were able to keep the temperature between 75-80, while outside was 91-95 degrees. Good investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaced a ten year old 25,000 BTU window mounted room air conditioner also made by Frigidaire. I would not have any other unit in my bedroom. I have a very large bedroom (22'x25') and am very very comfortable. Also this unit cools off the back hallway (laundry/mud room) AND part of my kitchen.
Bought this unit to replace old central heat and air unit for living room and kitchen area. I have had this unit now 3 years and it is still amazing. After a year the gfi plug went out and warranty had a guy come out and replace the cord. Next year the gfi plug went out again. Even tho it was under warranty I went to the hardware store and bought just a regular plug to put on the end of the cord. My receptical box is on a covered deck so i didnt really need a gfi plug also put a case around receptical to make sure it doesnt get wet. Other then the faulty gfi this unit keeps 600 sqft cooled with no problem even on days over 100 degrees. Not the quietest unit but it's due to the amount of air that it puts out which is alot!!! Also have a 18000 frigidare in our bedroom and its is amazing also. It is 8 years old and still blows cold air like it's brand new!!!
Even with a small dent in the top (like something heavy was placed on top), this A/C unit was ready to cool as soon as the install was complete. Great purchase for the price!
I got this Air Conditioner from Walmart about $100 cheaper than Lowe and Home Deport. It's free delivery to Walmart's store. The shipment was quicker than a setting date. No damaged and work right from the box.
