it took me some time to buy it cause the reviews was bad. i just put it together for my daughter. and it look nice.
Assembly was super easy. My granddaughter loves the sounds that come from the microwave, burner and water faucet.
Not for angry dads/other family to put together! I read the reviews and was extremely iffy about buying this kitchen set, but upon arrival I actually had no problem with it. Some of the snaps were hard to put together, but thats literally it!! If you're patient and take your time to put it together there should be no issues. The only reason I rated it a 4/5 is because the handles pop off and the marble effect kinda looks like scuffs.
My kids love this play kitchen i was a little scared after seeing all the bad reviews but i had already order it its berry cute the fridge doors are a little hard to open but everything else love â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
We bought this for our two year old daughter who loves to cook and decided to put it up before Christmas just to make sure nothing was broken. Out of the package it was crazy easy to assemble, and all you need is AA batteries, a small screwdriver, and some arm muscle. It is thin plastic, I'm not going to lie, and the back of the kitchen is pink particle board on one side and natural on the back. That being said, I already suspected the plastic and wood construction wouldn't be heavy duty, but I loved the features, which is why we went with this one. It took my husband and I about 20 minutes to put it together as you just snap everything into place. The only confusing part for me was each plastic piece is labeled, but it's light embossed in the underside of the plastic and has two to three letters on one piece due to other pieces fitting with those letters. Thankfully my husband is a genius with putting together these things and had it done quickly. There are three big screws that attach to the stove and fridge to combine the pieces, but everything else snaps or slides into place. I would advise to place the batteries in early under the stove, as we forgot about that part, and I was highly disappointed when i realized the faucet wouldn't work, but later remembered we never added batteries to that part. Whoops! The kitchen once fully assembled reach the top of my chest, and I'm 5'2 so it's pretty tall, and even for my tall daughter it will actually be too tall for her to fit perfectly. Which is great so she can grow with it. The stove is a little hard to open, and I do have to hold the stove top while opening it to prevent the whole kitchen from moving with me. The fridge, microwave, and freezer all open and close easily. Now the faucet does make running water noise when the lever is pulled forward, the microwave lights up and makes running noise when closed only, and then beeps a few seconds later like a real one, one stove top has lights and makes sizzle noises, and there are two ice cubes you can place in the fridge, and when you press the cup to the mechanism in the back it drops the ice cubes in. There is also two nice size spaces to keep containers of food and pots in, and the knobs above the stove make that clicking noise when turned. There is also another shelf in the fridge, so this thing is quite large with a lot of space! It does come with one pan, whisk, cup, five cardboard food boxes, stirring spoon, and I think one more utensil. Again we love it, and I adore that it makes sounds, and lights up! We also put a motivated light at the top of the oven so when it opens a light come on! Too cute! And also note that there is an off button on the back of the kitchen to cut off all sounds. The countertop that comes up does not sit flush to the stove part and does feel a bit flimsy. Otherwise I really like this kitchen, and our daughter is going to go crazy when she see's it!
This looks cute, I feel like it's to cheap for the price, it's very hard to open and close. It was very easy to assemble no tools required! When my kids play with it I feel like it can fall over so I have it against the wall
🤗I loved everything about it, it's just when putting everything together we noticed it was broken from the left side close to the stove.☹️😭😏 Also on the other side of the stove there's some discoloration like it almost broke.😒 if I would of known I wouldn't of purchased it! This is why I have a hard time buying items online because you just never know if it will come in GOOD CONDITIONS!
Pretty disappointed. Bought this for my 2 1/2 year old for Christmas, and I'm probably going to try and return it. Didn't realize it was plastic...thats my fault, but I wouldn't have minded if it was sturdy enough. But it's not. Super flimsy, and all of the doors are really tough to open and close. Door latches don't line up (probably because of the flimsy material), so my daughter can't even close them. If they are closed, they're so hard to pull she can't open them, and the whole thing tips over when she tries. Loved that it made noise, but the water and stove top noise sound pretty much the same, like radio static, so I wasn't even that thrilled with that feature. I thought maybe the cool features could redeem the set, but with all of the doors hanging open, I'd rather spend my money on something that performs basic functions, and have her make pretend noises. Pretty bummed to have to return this, especially since she was so excited and she won't understand why it's going away. Assembly was really easy. Expected a lot more for the average price, and from Disney brand.
I am very disappointed with my purchase.I should have listened to the reviews.My daughter is two yrs old the stove,fridge,freezer door is super hard to close I literally have to slam it for her .We have to leave the microwave door open when finish playing because once you close it ,it starts going and will waste your battery's faster.It is very flimsy and cheap plastic.Im returning once my step2 kitchen comes in.
Don't waste your money because all the reviews are correct! The handles do not stay on the stove and microwave. When you pull it to open it it just yanks off. We even tried to superglue it to see if that would work and it won't stay together. I would have returned it but it takes so long to assemble it that I don't want to have to assemble another one.
