I love my Harvest garden and have "harvested" three salads from it so far, and the lettuces are still growing taller and thinker than ever! The pump only goes on for 5 minutes very hour, and I can hardly hear it. However, I also ordered the Sprout and am not happy with it because the loud, noisy pump runs constantly and never shuts off.
I am so excited to have my to harvest Aero Gardens. Although the seed pods for my greens most of them said three to seven days, they poke their heads out in like 1! I've been putting them on sandwiches since about day 5.
I simply cannot get over how quickly my plants are growing. I started my garden with six Romaine pods two weeks ago, and was really surprised when I saw little sprouts after just two days. I now have lush plants nearly 6 inches tall and have had to raise my light. This thing is amazing - I wish I'd gotten one sooner!
I bought 3 harvest in the red because I thought they would be something that my husband who had a massive stroke could participate in. He was able to plant all the pods, add nutrients etc with his good hand. Besides the benefits of fresh greens, there is also the joy of having a life affirming activity to look forward to each day! Be careful...they are addictive!
Bought 2 for my wife for Christmas and planted them the following day. Soon they started growing and they look and taste great! Now plan to buy a couple for my kids!
Bought these for myself, love them! Of course I wanted the Farm XL, but had to see if they worked for me first. The only gripe I have is that one arrived and the display is off-kilter (see pic). It doesn't appear to affect operation, but.. well.. Anyway, tomatoes in one, lettuces in the other, and a giant pack of flowers for later. Perfect for those with little free time to be puttering about in the garden :)
I love its comact size. I started lettuce for the garden in it and it did so wonderful I ordered 2 more. After the outside garden is in I will be using for a fall/winter garden.
Love my harvest. Everything grows big in the harvest. I haven't had issues with the system itself. My only concern is the roots grow together from whatever is being planted. So make sure to transplant before you have a hot mess. Majority of my pods grew too big before seeding or coming to fruit. So I have yet to see a harvest garden in full bloom, but thats the least of my worries.
My aero garden harvest is great. I did have to call because my package for some reason didn't have the power cord but they jumped right on it and sent me one. All of my pods are growing nicely except for my kale mix which hasn't sprouted.
This was my Christmas gift to myself. I could not have been more excited about gardening on my counter top. I even brought extra pod collections for all of the gardening I was going to do. Five of the six pods germinated, grew fully past the highest point of the lamp and then without blooming tomatoes, DIED!!!! A waste of my time and money!!!!
