Aero garden is a convenient and easy way to grow herbs and flowers indoors. It is especially welcome during this unfortunate time of Covid. It truly lifts the spirits to smell the herbs and to see the colors of flowers in the kitchen.
It's so easy and fun to grow, even for a non gardener! You can even grow your own flowers.
I did a lot of research about the AeroGarden before settling on the Harvest Elite. I truly felt it was a good fit for my family. While I'm already contemplating a second Harvest Elite for herbs, this purchase was a sure thing. It came quickly, expertly packaged and it literally took me 5 minutes to set up. I saw sprouts in just a few days and by day 10, the plant domes had to be removed due to robust growth. By day 20, today, it's salad time! I can't wait to enjoy more of this wonderful machine.
Attracted to AeroGarden Harvest Elite after receiving their catalog. Set it up a week ago and after four days, tomato seeds started to sprout which is shorter than what is labeled on seed pods. Device is attractive and fairly easy to set up. This model has automatic timer feature which works perfect and is definitely a plus. Overall, I am very satisfied. Can't wait to see tomato plants grow up and produce cherry tomatoes!
Bought 4 of them. Everyone got one for Christmas. I have 2 growing lettuce mostly. Beautiful salad that grows quickly, clean and delicious. Fun to watch grow. Wish you would have a phone number though.
My family has enjoyed growing fresh vegetables indoors, during the Covid Pandemic. The Aerogarden gave us joy, watching the unremarkable daily growth of the lettuce and bok choy pods. They were very tasty, even for my 9 year old son, who snacked on the leaves. And, I just found 4 cherry tomatoes two days ago! I'm so excited!!
The system is easy to use, but beware that the light is very bright. Initially had some problems programming, wish there was an up and down selection button separate from the one main button. Basil grows great, and dill and mint are ok. The thyme didn't make it and the curley parsley is barely a few centimeters tall after several months, not enough to harvest.
Easy to use for the most part. Just be sure to read the instruction carefully in regards to setting up the timer, etc. Can be a little tricky if your not paying attention. Loving watching my veggies grow. The light is really strong, so find an out of the way place to put your Aerogarden so the light doesn't bother you.
The mint pod did not sprout. The other herbs grew slowly even after 16 days. The harvest elite is very small. Looks like the plants have little space to grow.
I bought two AeroGarden Elite, one (white)for Christmas and a 2nd for my son's birthday this past weekend. My daughter in law set her's up at Christmas so we're waiting for the herbs to sprout but my son's On/Off button is faulty and never worked. When he has company over, he wants to turn off the lights but since the button never worked he has to unplug the entire unit each time. I paid a lot of money for both of these so I'm extremely disappointed that the On/Off touch sensor button never worked.
