I bought 2 of these in the store, and they are as well as those high dollar ones, at a bedding store. My granddaughter, who is 13 wanted one also, so bought 2 more online and she loves them. I have slept much better using these pillows and I only need one pillow under my head now instead of 2.
I first purchased memory foam pillows from Overstock. They were not as they had been advertised and only had a thin slice of memory foam inside - the rest was filler. So I returned them and found this one on Walmart. It is a much better quality pillow at half the price of the worthless Overstock.com pillows. The memory foam is green in color and composes the entire pillow - no fillers. As you rest your head on it, the foam sinks in. It also does not sink your head all the way to the bed. It still maintains good support. I have been using memory foam pillows for the past 10 years and am very happy with this new one. It comes with a zip in cover, but you will still want a pillow case on top of that because the cover is thin. For the price, you can't beat it.
I purchased this pillow along with the memory foam 4 inch matress topper by the same company. I have nothing but good things to say. I sleep better, even when I fall asleep with my ear-pods in and lay on the side of my head, the memory foam allows enough give to maintain comfort. Great pillow!
I LOVE this pillow & highly recommend it! I have herniated discs in my neck & this is the first pillow that I can say is very comfortable & supportive. I wish I had bought one sooner! I hope they get more in stock as I would like to order another one as I am a side sleeper & need 2 pillows & right now I am using a regular pillow under the memory foam one. I only gave it 4 stars in the features simply because of it's sizing. Instead of the standard 21x17 it's 20x15.....not 21x15 like the description says.
I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and ordered this pillow in conjunction with a gel pillow. I am very happy with this buy. The pillow is a kind of small, but hefty in weight for its size. It holds its memory nicely when laying on it. Due to its small size, it works better on top of another pillow and the gel pillow is perfect for that. The foam is firmer and holds my head perfect as it sinks into the softer down-like gel pillow. Great buy for the price. People with more than a twin bed will want a larger size though.
Real memory foam, responds to your body heat. Unlike other pillows i've tried, it is not too thick. The typical foam smell diminished quickly. Very comfortable. Super bonus- the pillow cover that comes with it is not only soft, but it is also easy to put back on because the zipper is on a long side, not a short end. Can't beat the price with a stick!
This pillow far exceeds my expections. I thought it would be cheap, but I like it better than the one I got from jcp at 3 times the price.
Havinf a memoryfoam materss topper, i wanted to get a memory foam pillow. I bough this one, and was bery please with apparence and softness. Is is full memory foam (no outer fiber or else). It lookeg very confortable, but when i tried to sleep on it, i found it too tick and far to firm. I gave it a try and make up in the night with my neck aching... It sure was not for me. I wanted to return it, but before i could do, my husband tried it, and love it so much that we ended buing another one for him for our town house. So it depend of your taste and slepping habits,.. But sure i was impress with the oustanding quality of the product, expecially for the price.
The pillow is comfortable, but it's way too thin for my liking. When you put your head on it, it compresses down so much your head practically touches the mattress through the pillow. I bought two and ended up stuffing them both into one pillowcase, which solved the problem, but it isn't very cost effective. Oh and they smell awful, like a tire fire, but after a couple weeks the smell has gone away somewhat, but not completely.
I purchased four of these pillows. I was very disappointed. They are very firm and not soft at all. I have already returned two of them, and am thinking of returning the other two.
