Love it. I drink a lot of tea and make coffee at least twice a day. Having hot water at the ready always is a great convenience. Easy to use, easy to set up, very convenient, and not that ugly on the counter! No messes.
Out previous Zojirushi water boiler served us daily for 15 years. Love the design of this new model. Reboil and slow drip features are genius. Slightly taller than previous unit makes it easy to fill up our 20oz Starbucks travel mug. Looks beautiful on our counter (next to our Zojirushi rice cooker). Couldn't be happier!
This is my second item from Zojirushi. Years ago I purchased a rice cooker and was amazed at the quality and functionality of that little appliance. Naturally when I was looking for a water boiler I considered Zojirushi and again I am very pleased with my purchase. All I ever needed in a water boiler.
Well designed. Ease of cleaning was carefully thought out for disassembly. Water heating and temperature retaining works well. Safety with a purposeful unlock to dispense hot water is genius. Electric dispenser means I can hold the dispense button down for continuous water output.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To say that my partner and I are very, very, happy with our Zojurushi water boiler is an understatement. We both work from home, like most folks who've transitioned to the new normal, and because of that, we've started to miss some aspects about the office that we don't get at home- mainly, warm water available on demand. Because we live in the Bay Area where it's almost always chilly, we look forward to having tea or warm water in the afternoons and evenings - and that's where our Zojirushi water boiler comes in real handy- for hot water any time of the day. We set it up at night and the timer function allows for warm water ready in the mornings. Several temp settings are available (personally big fans of 175) and you can set the temp to anything you desire. It's the MVP of our new WFH life and we couldn't be happier.
My hubby and I are very happy to have this product because we can get hot water right away whenever we want it or need it.
Really Great to have on the counter. I can get my coffee or my tea quickly and it's always the right temperature. It's a fundamental necessity in my kitchen. It's also really great Soups and broth.
As a daily tea drinker, this product is amazing. Sleek design, temperature functions that accommodate the variety of teas I enjoy, and so user friendly. Worth the investment if you drink tea multiple times a day.
This is the best water heater I could find on the market. Nice vacuum seal to prevent wasted electricity. Water stays heated and sips very little electricity to maintain temperature. I can feel very comfortable leaving this on constantly plugged in without any concerns of hazar, damage, or electricity overuse! Love this thing, got it just in time for the cold months here!
Overall, a fine appliance. Our issues: 1. inner surface is coated with a non-stick coating that is a relative of teflon. As with teflon, the production of this coating results in forever chemicals. In addition, the minute flacking off of the non-stick lining contributes to micro-plastic pollution. 2. The water level is often difficult to see; Zojirushi should add the floating plastic ball that they provide in their top-of-the line boiler.
