I wanted a product to cover a blemish on my arm. This product is awesome for color and a glow but not for covering a blamish. I would recommend it for those looking for a tan & glow.
First I would like to say I was a bit skeptical about this product. I have tried many different self-tanning products throughout the years. They either left your skin with a ‘orange' color or it streaked and looked so phony, and who wants that! L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze Summer Express Makeup Lotion is fabulous makeup to give you a rich, beautiful tan instantly that will last the whole day till you wash it off with water. For the pictures, I put it on one side, of each of my legs, to show the difference in color. Half with makeup, half without. I just put a little on in my hand and rubbed onto my leg. It goes on so smoothly, like applying your foundation. The color makes your skin look beautiful... I love the way it looks on my skin. It looks like a real deep, rich tan! Honestly, it would take me forever to get this tan if I was lying out in the sun. This product gives you the beauty of a tan without the harmful suns UV rays, which damages your skin. I have very sensitive skin and this product did not irritate it. Finally, a self tanning product that looks like the real thing! I love this product, and recommend this to everyone wanting a gorgeous tan for a day!
Couldn't wait to try this L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze Summer Express Wash-OffBody Makeup Lotion, Medium, 3.78 fl. oz. and I was not disappointed. Initially, when I was choosing products as a Walmart Spark Reviewer, I wanted dark bronzer but they only offered light or medium so I chose the medium. The medium is dark. I have tried other bronzer lotions (in dark) that were not as dark as this Wash-Off Body Makeup Lotion. The lotion is thick and a little dab is all you need. It does say you can wait - let it dry and add a second coat, but for me that would be too dark and I generally feel the darker the better, so that's how dark it goes on to begin with. When I was younger I always liked to look tan in the summer. Now that I am older, I like to look tan in the summer as well but for totally different reasons. As you can see from the pictures below, I took a photograph of my hand before using the L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze Summer Express Wash-Off Body Makeup Lotion, Medium and a second photograph after I used it. You can visibly see the difference. Before the Was-Off Body Makeup you can see age spots on my hand. After using the lotion, you no longer see age spots. The Makeup Lotion washes off easily and does not stain your washcloth when removing - it washes off clean - I rinsed out the washcloth and that was the end of it. No residuals on my hand, washcloth and nothing on my towel. Awesome! Thank you L'Oreal!
This product gives you a very realistic looking (temporary) tan. Very quick to put on and will wash off in your next shower – so this is perfect for the nervous user who is unsure how it will look. If you don't like it you can take it off right away. But I have found it is really easy to put on, practically fool-proof. The first time I tried this, I showered and shaved my legs first then applied almost immediately when out of the shower when my skin was still a bit damp. One more step I should have done to get better results would have been to put on an exfoliating scrub in the shower to get rid of any dead surface skin, but I thought of it too late, and it isn't like my results were bad having not done it, I just feel that they would have been even better if I had. But even though the directions state put on dry legs, I found it went on a little easier with slightly damp (not dripping wet) legs. The next times I tried it I tried it on dry legs (and my skin is really dry). It seems to soak in faster and I had to be more careful about streaks, but again – application is pretty fool-proof no matter how you do it. You just need to rub it in well, and evenly. If you rub too much after the product is dried, it will start to actually rub off though! I found that the feet are the trickiest area to do. You have to really be careful to rub it in evenly there, and maybe use a little bit less. After applied I waited 15 minutes before dressing just to make sure it was completely dry and after that point it didn't rub off on my clothes or bedding that night. I was impressed by that. The color is fairly believable, not orange-y at all. It says you can put on two coats for a darker look, but since I am so very white I thought I ought not push it into the realm of absurd, although I did apply to coats in my video review just to show the changes. This is a great product for when you need a tan QUICKLY!
I love being tan, but no longer use tanning beds or sun tan because it is dangerous, and aging to the skin. I use sunless tanners to achieve a tan. Sunless tanning is a bit of a hassle and I can never maintain a tan constantly. When I am between sunless tanning applications I use instant tan lotions or body makeup. In the summer I often use instant color products when wearing shorts to have nice tanned legs. I tested Loreal Paris Sublime Bronze Summer Express Wash-Off Body Lotion in Medium. It gave me an instant brownish color with red undertones, which is very close in color to a real tan for me. The application was quick and easy and showed no streaks and looked even. I actually love how this product smells on my skin as well. I was pleased to find the color didn't rub off on my light colored clothing. Over the course of the day I accidentally spilled water on my legs and it didn't cause the color to run or budge. Removal was easy, just soap and water and it was gone. I would recommend this product and will reach for it all summer long when I need a quick tan.
I have had the L'Oréal wash-off body lotion and I thinks it's great. I use it on my hands and legs well my legs once so far due to my psoriasis flare up that was already visible, and let me tell you there was a big difference. You couldn't tell I had body lotion on. When I first squeezed a small amount on my finger I was skeptical about how it was going to look on me. I'm a medium skin color and the medium lotion looks way to dark. So I used it anyway and it rubbed/blended in just right so all you. Medium skin color out there. Medium in this would be your color trust me. Applying the lotion is very easy and rubs in smoothly. It's silky not pasty at all. Skin feels very smooth after applied and you don't have a wait time for the lotion to settle. Might be a good idea to wait a few minutes, but I haven't and haven't had any problems Easy to wash off with soap and warm water. Once again easy to apply I think the bottle needs to be a little bigger in size. Maybe getting more lotion for the buck would be great. Due to using a lot for each use. This being said I truly love this body lotion I will be wearing this in the summer as well.
I like this Bronzer as will wash off. If you want for just one day works great. Goes on very smoothly and no streaking. Used on my face for little color worked great, yet could remove at night. The medium is a good user friendly color, not too much. I would recommend for a temporary little color.
Well for starters I have never used a self tan /bronze lotion or spray.... I have thought about it but I use to see people looking real orange and streaky after using one. I also don't go to tanning bed's and I try not to be out in the sun too much because I burn easy. I was very excited to use the L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze Summer Express Wash-Off Body Makeup Lotion... I honestly didn't have high hopes for it but I was willing to try it especially after seeing it's something you can wash-off. When I opened the lid and saw how dark the cream was I was like forget it!! This medium is not my color , it's too dark but I tried it anyway and after rubbing it in it looked real nice, I didn't look real tan and it was almost the same color I am now but like the lotion says " summer glow" and that's just what it is It looks like you have spent a little time in the sun. I love it but i'm not sure if i'd use it at all in the warmer months because although it say's it's transfer and sweat resistant I did sweat some and noticed the sweat was a little brown. I think this product is great for the cooler fall/winter months where you don't have to worry to much about sweating and you can still look sun kissed even in the winter months. I did have fun applying it and taking selfies because it looks like I had been out enjoying the sun. When you do use it remember to follow the directions and let the product dry before putting on cloths because it will rub off on it if you don't. Over all I did like the product, it works and it's something I would use. If you have an event you have to go to and you want a nice summer glow I would recommend this.
I ordered medium because even though I am fairly light skinned - I am a natural/cool - that seems to be the make up/ tan color that works best for me. I was worried at first because the color dot on the tube seems so dark. That was not the problem. While it washed right off of my skin it did STAIN my new sheets. And my blouse. And my bra. The first layer goes on pretty light. But please put on gloves and be ready to rub it it in just right. It kind of wants to go on uneven, but to be fair it was not nearly as streaky as the tan creams in the old days. With a lot of effort you can make it look OK. Not sure why you want to go through all the trouble for a temp tan. But I do like that there is no commitment. Maybe for a special occasion. To apply another layer, make sure you let it dry completely and then go easy on the amount. So..better than most other temporary bronzers I have tried. Let it dry completely and it stays on fairly well. Can be worked into a nice look. But maybe best used while in a bikini.
I have very light fair skin. With warm weather aproching I was happy to try the L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze Summer Express Wash Off Body Makeup Lotion. I got the Medium color . to add some color to my white legs , until I get a little natural tan , I tried the lotion. I knew right away I should have bought the light color. The lotion is a red clay color but turns to a nice tan color. A little goes a long way. Goes on very easy. Did not discolor the knee area like some towel wipes do then look orange . I really like that I can just WASH THE COLOR OFF my hands or an area that appears to dark for my skin tone. Did I mention that the color washes right off. A little soap , and the color is gone ! No scrubbing like the towel wipes. I did find that the color came off on the inside of my pajamas , and also on my sheets. The good news is, the next day my legs were a perfect " just a light tan color. As soon as I got in the shower, the tan was gone. The second use I knew how much to use and my legs were a nice tan color again. I have also used as a makup shading on my face like to darken a double chin area. I have recommended this product already.
