I bought this for my fiance as a late Christmas present, and he loves it! The tool box is very sturdy and heavy duty. The tools are very high quality and work great. I would recommend this set for use in the home or to keep in your car or truck for those quick fixes.
This was everything I expected and more. Great tools, great quality. I actually would expect something less quality for the price, but it is Stanley and a Great Product! Even the tool box it came in is pretty good quality. Would definitely recommend this to somebody needing tools around the house
We bought this for our 11 yr old son for Christmas and it was a huge hit. The tool chest is sturdy. It came with some pouches for some of the tools, if you need them. After you open the top lid, you will find a bar located in the back. Removing the bar is how you are able to unlock the other drawers. I like this little detail because the drawers won't slide out if the chest is tipped. The tool chest locks, two keys are included.There are a gracious plenty of tools and they seem to be very well made. We only had to add a tape measure, hammer, nails/screws. Those were not included. This set should last quite awhile.
this is a good product, no complaints, but the sockets are the smallest sizes, in small increments. For example from this kit I now have deep sockets 5/32-3/8 in 1/32 increments. There are not many uses for this socket range. I wish the would have a larger increment size and larger sockets. 1/2 5/8 9/16 3/4 that type of thing. but it was cheap and I will use some of it...
I gave this as a gift to our son...He was very excited with it...said it was just what he wanted, he had his tools stolen and didn't have any....I just wish it had gone on clearance before I ordered it as I would have saved about $30.00 or more....
I got this as a christmas present for my husband... he loved it... it reminds me of one of those giant shop toolboxes... but mini.... haha its cute... but the bad thing is it dosent come with a hammer... what kind of toolbox comes without a hammer??? But over all its a good toolbox... its bigger then it seems.... Oh btw I gave it 4 stars cuz I can't get ovetr the no hammer thinglol
I ordered this tool box for myself around the christmas time. It was on sale for $68.00. It is a very nice set and the box is sturdy enough for my needs. I usually am a craftsman, kobalt or husky tool guy but this seemed like a offer i couldnt refuse. Let's face it Stanley tools are not a shabby tool and the set that comes with this box is definetly a mediocre set (BASIC). Having said that this tool box will be used as a third set for me for a travel trailer i have upstate so i dont have to lug along one of my other ones. Would recommend to buy. This box also has keys and a lock and a slide bar in the rear so the drawers can't open unless the top is open.
I got this for my husband for his birthday. I bought for the sale price of 49.95 and the quality exceeded my expectations for the price. It is great for the beginning of a tool collection, though I expect my husband will out grow it in a few years.....it is an excellent place to start.
This is an excellent value for the money. Don't expect a completely stocked tool box but for the $55.00 price it's a great value. Comparable tool boxes without tools often sell for as much. I rated the tool box at 4 stars instead of 5 because there is no way to latch the tool box top without locking it with the key.
In concept this is a great toolbox. However, when I got it, the top of the box was slightly crushed. When I got home and opened the box, the top of the toolbox was crushed and the frame of the box damaged. I recommend that you open the box in the store and inspect it. It does not take much to damage this box and ruin the experience for you. Further, I called Stanley, and they said they have no way to replace the box, recommending me to take it back to Walmart. I told them that their warranty is useless, as this was defective before I opened the box. They said they would ask the manufacturer in China if there was anything they could do.
