This ukulele is very well made and a very good value. I suggest putting new strings in it, I used the top 4 from an electric guitar set. I adjusted the bridge and saddle and think it sounds and plays great. It has a truss rod and adjustment tool which is great as it has steel strings. I also set the neck pick up higher to mach the volume of the body pick up. So far I really am happy with this uke.
Perfect for what I want. I don't plan to start a recording or performing career, but I wanted something different and something amplified. I have ukes with pickups, but this one looks cool. The sounds I can get with this connected to my Fender 10G amp are just what I wanted. The uke and the amp together cost under $200. Excellent combination.
