I was a little hesitant to try these and so we're my kids. They are amazing. They taste like any other rice crispe treat . They are sweet and moist. I love them and love that they are healthy and my whole family can enjoy them because there gluten free.
...then I gave everyone's less-than-five-star review a thumbs-down LOL. For those in the know, Rice Krispies, like most all Kellogg's cereal products contain BARLEY. If you're on a gluten-free diet, those are O-U-T then :-( And try making your own GF faux Rice Krispie treat and you'll be disappointed, no matter which cereal you use...that is, IF you grew up eating genuine RK. Now, hope has been restored to my snack-eating future. Thank you ‘Great Value'! P.S. Not sure why other reviewers qualified the product as ‘Birthday Cake' variety? Somebody said the product contained unhealthy ingredients, LOLOLOL. Uh, yes! Kale flavored! (Jk) But a new package design is sorely needed!!! Just don't change the recipe!
These are absolutely delicious. I received these in the mail this week and I took them to work with me and shared these with my co workers. They loved them and I loved how they tasted. A great snack for on the go or just to sit down when you have a sweet tooth. My kids took one for snack to and they loved them to I will be purchasing these soon for my family, kids, and friends.
I thought these were delicious and very fresh. The taste was perfect, freshness quality, packaging was nice and easy to open, tasted like birthday cake to me my children absolutely loved them and demand I purchase again. I would never have known the brand if it wasn't labeled. It was definitely a great quality product overall! Will definitely recommend and purchase again!
Crispy Rice treats is one of our favorite snacks. But this one taste more delicious than other that we try. It's sweet and tasty. It's a little bit sticky but that's not bother my kids. The sprinkle make the snack funny. We recommend this specially because is gluten free.
I was a bit hesitant to give these Crispy Rice Treats a try because they are gluten-free. I'm very happy that I did because they are wonderful. The bars look like they have tiny candy sprinkles melted into the crispy rice. They have a sweet buttery taste that's very delicious. The size of the bars are small. They're about 2.75 x 2 x .75. You can't eat just one! I tend to eat at least two in one sitting. I would say that I'm surprised that they're so good, but just about every Great Value product is good. I will definitely be purchasing these for my snacks.
Great Value Gluten-Free Crispy Rice Treats in Birthday Cake flavor are pretty tasty. I liked the flavor as well as the texture. They are a little firmer than some others I have had but this isn't a problem because this way they stay together and don't fall apart as you bite them!
Ok so this is the deal......I have tried SO many gluten free snacks and in the hunt for one that tatse the closets to "regular" and ones that my kids wont say taste gross....well I think I have found one! These are delicious and tatse very similar to original rice crispy treats, the birthday flavor is a great additive, while you can still tell that they are gluten free , they are still a snack that my kids and I are reaching for!!! I will absolutely recommend these to my friends and family.
over all these were pretty good. that had a great tastes, taste just like original rice crispy treats. my only complaint is they were a little tough. almost like they were stale. but overall these were pretty good. i can see myself buying these for my house hold.
These Gluten-free Birthday Cake Crispy Rice Treats sounded like something my family would love because we already by a similar item that is non GF. However, to me, these tasted odd and were much too chewy in texture for my liking. They weren't terrible and my kids were still happy to eat them, but I don't think I'd purchase these unless I absolutely needed a GF alternative to the regular option.
