This is my 5th Lifetime cooler !! I know that sounds silly but to be fair I own 3 boats so these double as extra seating as well. I could have bought a Yeti or other expensive roto-molded cooler but it boiled down to MY needs and those needs didn't include 10 days of ice retention. Nor did they include the desire to spend north of $400 for an ice cooler. I didn't get caught up in the cooler wars and bought a reasonably priced and adequately performing cooler..and then I bought another...and another..and....
-Rocksolid- I’ve had my Lifetime cooler about 4 or 5 months now. I spend a lot of time in the outdoors by far the very best cooler I’ve ever had! “Solid 5 Star”
I bought 2 1/2 years ago , Seal went bad , and the warranty department took care of me , will not buy another cooler , lifetime #1
I gave my son this cooler a couple years ago. He loves it. We were taking a back country trip into Utah’s High Uintah wilderness area. I figured the cooler would work as a panier so I bought a matching one. The 55 is a great size for this application. I was using a mule without much packing experience. Needless to say he didn’t do a great job of dodging trees. He smacked the coolers in trees quite a few times and dumped them to the ground at least three times. The coolers were loaded pretty heavy but they bounced real good when they hit the ground. Way better than I do. Needless to say all the tree scrapes took a foot pad off each cooler. Several months later I decided to try to get replacements. I contacted customer service through the chat option on their web site. I was well taken care of with replacement feet being sent to me at no charge. I was very pleasantly surprised. Thanks for a great product and great support Rod S
Have had cooler for probably 3 summers and noticed cooler had deformed on front where latches are located. I called customer service, and Gage, the service rep was amazing. He had me take a couple photos and he looked at them and asked me for my address and said a new one was on its way. This is absolutely amazing service and taking care of customers. I can’t say enough for Lifetime. Thank you!! I have over the years recommend these cooler to friends and no one has ever had any issue. I guess I am just a Beta Tester, ha ha.
I bought this cooler at Walmart after checking reviews. We have kids that play softball and are outside all day. This cooler can hold everything for a family of 5 on a hot summer day. After a few months the lid began to warp and not seal. I emailed lifetime support and followed the claim directions and they replaced the cooler. My only criticism would be that it needs a wheel kit, currently we pull it in a small cart at softball tournaments.
Used the cooler for the first time this past weekend.. Thursday-Sunday.. It was 90 degrees and sunny the first 3 days. Everything stayed cold and a 20lb bag of ice was all we needed. When we got home on Sunday we still had at least 3 inches of ice left in the cooler. We prechilled the cooler the day before we left. Brought it in the house and put a bag of ice in and closed it up. This is a lighter weight cooler than Yeti and keeps food just as cold and a lot less expensive!
Amazing cooler. Holds ice for 5-7 days. Sturdy, love the durable handles on the side and to open it. Has an easy water spout at the side to release melted ice. Such a great value for the price. Don't hesitate to buy one. Wish they made one in the next size down though, as we'd like a second one for under the seat in our boat and the 55 is just a little big but the next size down is just too small.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased a 55 quart cooler and the lid will not stay latch down. We call Lifetime customer service and they are great. We are going to receive a replacement cooler. The sales rep was McKay and he was great.
I had this cooler for about 3 years, It's been a great cooler, but using it outside every day, can take a tollon any cooler. a toll and started to warp. The company did exactly what the said they would do and sent out an replacement .
