This is actually my 2nd Sony SRS_XB13 Extra Bass speaker in the past 2yrs. I used my first one almost 2yrs ago. A lot on construction job sites, canoeing, swimming, socializing and having beverages this little speaker has lived up to its name. I think it's great actually when one of my friends has a "Full size pill speaker and thinks it's top notch" and I'm not one to boast but I'm like "... hey man, check out my little speaker for real. And if you place it evenly especially on a thin wood table surface it will even amplify the bass through the surface it is sitting on. And I'm always wanting to be the ""d.j."... I do not like that term I just love music and this speaker is worth every penny. I wouldn't hesitate purchasing another Sony product.
This is possibly the best tiny bluetooth speaker you will ever own for $50. The frequency range is 20-7,000 Hz. This means is can give you good base. I must have good base to enjoy my music.
Great sound, including bass. Great volume. Highly recommend. Great product with reasonable price!!!
The speaker has a great design. Its waterproof and easy to clean which makes it even better for me. The strap comes in handy although you need to be careful when removing it because if it creases it becomes impossible to do so without something to stretch it out again. For the size of the speaker, its sound quality is pretty good. My use for it is in a small place so I don’t get too analytical in that department. The only thing that pains me the most is how much the volume goes down when the battery is running low.
I recently purchased this speaker to replace the B-12 I had. It had quit charging and since it was a gift i had no receipt so Sony couldn't honor their 1 year warranty. Now i have a receipt so I'm more hopeful, although I feel it should exceed the warranty they set. The clarity of sound is terrific although the Bluetooth range isn't as good as the ear device.
Plays beautifully. User's manual is a pictorgram. Harder to decipher than one of those asian manuals with butchered English. Would prefer asian manual with butchered English. No online user's manual that is written rather than pictogram.
This is an overall decent speaker . It has better bass then a jbl go 3 but its not as loud as the previous Sony srs xb12 which feels better and sounds louder aswell includes six input . That being said this speaker is good for what its meant for . Being a small compact speaker for personal use . Reason for 3 stars is the package it came in was ruined the speaker had no harm but fed ex with this seller roughs up fragile packages too much to justify it . In all honesty Id recommend just saving for a Sony xb 23 or getting the xb 12
I'm totally annoyed all of this technology is nothing for the young. For people like me it would be better to just put in print directions, serial number(s), model number(s)
We purchased about 2 months ago and worked fine. Then the speaker no longer turns on and no longer charges. We attempted to re-set per the sony website instructions; but nothing. We are seeking a warranty as there appears to be a defect with this device.
I was waiting for a SONY Product my whole life... I was let down unfortunately. The Volume itself... WAAAaaaYY Too Low... Drove me Nutz!!
