I love my Eargo LINKs. I didn't think that I would care about the Bluetooth feature, but I really enjoy having my hearing aides connected to my phone. And I like how they feel in my ears. My original Eargos were less visible, and some might prefer that, but at 66, I don't care. Many people have Bluetooth devices in their ears, so I just look like one of them.
I currently use both Eargo 7 and Link. I love the Eargo 7 for its small size and clarity, plus the ability to actively manage the devices through the app. I also like the Link devices. They provide the ability to stream music/radio from my iPhone while I'm doing other things at home or while shopping. Also, the ability to take phone calls is very useful. And I appreciate the lower price point for Link.
I really like the Eargo LINK in comparison to the more expensive Eargo that I had previously. The LINKs are very comfortable, fit like earbuds and I enjoy being able to use the Bluetooth to stream my phone calls and music/audibles, etc. It helps a lot in noisy backgrounds, which is my biggest issue. The downside is, it does not hold a charge for a full day like the other Eargo products. So, I have to be more judicious in wearing them. Overall, a good product.
I quite like the Link by Eargo and I have a very positive experience. In call mode, voices are clear and easy to understand. The amplification for different frequencies is thoughtfully adjusted for high-frequency hearing loss, enhancing communication during phone calls. The sound quality during audio streaming is excellent. It rivals the experience of high-quality music streaming. The frequency amplification in this mode is also tailored to fit high-frequency hearing loss. Operating the earbuds is straightforward. A single touch or two consecutive touches on the touchpad allows users to control various functions. Importantly, the earbuds communicate with each other, meaning they are not operated individually. The earbuds offer good battery life, lasting several hours on a single charge. While I did not run them empty, this duration should suffice for most daily use. Additionally, the earbuds recharge quickly. The charging case can fully recharge the earbuds up to four times before needing its own recharge. Overall, the Link By Eargo earbuds serve as an excellent complement to my existing hearing aids. The earbuds are user-friendly, versatile for phone calls and audio streaming, and discreetly function as hearing aids. While they provide great sound quality, naturally, they do not match the quality of self-fitting or professionally fitted hearing aids. The maximum 9-hour battery life would be insufficient for all-day use. I would recommended the Link by Eargo for occasional or situational use, especially if the primary hearing aids lack Bluetooth streaming capabilities.
I have used my Links a few times. I mainly wanted them for streaming podcasts etc. and not to need to switch to my other headphones when exercising. I have my normal Eargos for routine hearing and speech enhancement. The use for streaming has been pretty good and the noise cancelling works well. I was happy to see that there will be an app. I am hoping that the volume of the different hearing modes might be adjusted along with mode changing.
The Eargo Link Hearing Aid fits comfortably in my ear. I love that the hearing aids are rechargeable and have Bluetooth capabilities.
I actually like the LINK better than my Eargo 5. I hear better with the LINKs and love them at night since they are connected to Bluetooth on my TV. I hear my wife's voice much better with the LINK.
I bought these a few weeks ago to try out at my son's wedding. I was very happy with the results, without having to say "huh" or "what" all the time.I like the simplicity of operation and use them for at least a few hours a day. They are a bit bulky, and I must have a shallow ear canal as they tend to loosen up over time, and have actually fallen out once or twice. All and all very happy with the purchase.
Well I do like them. But, they fall out of my ears to easily and one of mine stopped working and needed to be replaced. I really wish it had an app. Mine currently do not. Not quite loud enough.
Good sound. Good fit. Like having the Bluetooth Link. Very convenient. The only drawback is the battery life. I have to recharge after about 4 hours of use.
