These loaf pans with lids are perfect for everyday use as well as the upcoming holidays! Made two loaves of banana bread so far and loving it! The loaves didn't stick to the these foil pans and it's nice to have a handy lid and not have to fool around with plastic wrap or an extra piece of foil to keep the loaves fresh. I'll definitely use these on a weekly basis to keep some fresh loaf bread around. Nice when folks come over for coffee and cake. Next I'm going to try to make a two-person lasagna and a small meatloaf in them. One of the top reasons I love these is that they look nice enough to take from oven to a function. They've got me in the mood for the holidays with family and friends.
I had these a while, thinking about upcoming Holidays, meals, snacks, and time. Seems like as the fall days get darker sooner I want home made comfort foods. But with fall clean up there often isn't much spare time to bake. So i bake one for now and one for later. This size is perfect for my go to recipes. I divided the batter into 2 of the pans and baked. Banana nut bread. One was desert and the other wrapped in foil for later. I liked that I got 2 decent sized loads without having to adjust my amounts of ingredients. I did not use a baking sheet while cooking in oven but did use one to remove from the oven. I would recommend, especially if your freezing for later
These are absolutely lovely little pans! I used mine to make a variety of sweet quick breads. They cooked evenly, and released from the pan like a dream! Surprisingly, the lids actually snap on, and are pretty sturdy, whether it's for traveling, or storing. I will definitely buy these again! Side note: These CAN be reused if you're very careful. I wouldn't, however recommend reusing the lids, as they are slightly flimsy.
Great for baking things that will leave your house. No worries about getting the pans back. I made some banana bread for my daughter's family....since she was having surgery. Bread browned nicely without burning. I love the way the tops snap on over the rim of the pan, instead of having to fit inside the rim. Nice, high covers for breads that rise a lot. I'm sure these would work equally well for things like meatloaf or anything you'd use a loaf pan for.
These work really well and I would recommend getting for those wanting to take to a picnic or someone's home that you don't want to worry about getting back. I made two banana bread loafs and they turned out great. Love the lids that come with them and they fit perfect. I froze one with the lid on for another day.
These pans are so useful, you can not only bake in them, you can also use them to storage food in your refrigerator or freezer. I used one of them to give some pasta I prepared to my neighbor, the lids are perfect to keep the food safe. I will be using the other two pans to cook my signature lemon cake, in a form of a loaf. I will be stocking on these to add them to my pantry because they are very useful, whether you want to cook on them or use them as food containers.
These are great loaf pans that you can give away and not worry about needing to get back. They are disposable, but still very strong, and come with clear lids so your bakeables stay fresh and the receiver can see how delicious they look. • Perfectly sized for normal-sized loaves of bread or pound cake. Or banana bread. Or pumpkin bread. Or cranberry-orange bread. Or cinnamon raisin bread. Or sticky pull-apart bread. Or...meatloaf. • Sturdy--unless your batter is VERY heavy, pans are strong enough to go straight into the oven without needing to put a cookie sheet under it for weight support. Not flimsy like some foil pans. • Perfect for gifting or for keeping and reusing for yourself. Great for holidays! • 3-pack so you can maximize your baking time--bake like the wind, old (or not-so-old) one!
It took me a while to understand that there were in fact 3 lids with these Handi-Foil Eco-Foil 2-Pound Loaf Pans with Lids, 3 Piece. They are thin and a little difficult to separate but once I got over that these pans with lids are perfect for gifting baked goods to neighbors and friends.
Handi-Foil Eco-Foil 2-Pound Loaf Pans with Lids, 3 Piece Is a great set. You nan make meat loaves, bread, strawberry shortcake, etc and it's great for travel, family/work gatherings that you don't want to worry about your own dishes getting broken or misplaced or when you just don't want to wash dishes!
As soon as I received these tins I went ahead and made two pumpkin breads. The recipe calls to use one 9x5 pan and here I came out with two tins of the baked bread. So take that as you will. I love the little plastic see through covers. Convenient to keep the baked goods fresh but also a nice way to present for a host gift or just transporting. The foil is nice and rigid but not so thick that i would bother washing and reusing. Convenient for what needs to get done but not anything out of the ordinary.
