How I wish I had found this coffee maker a long time ago! This coffee maker is fantastic! I really appreciate the stainless-steel carafe. It is so easy to clean and is unbreakable. The coffee maker is very simple to use and heats the water very quickly. I doubt if I'll ever buy any other coffee maker after finding this gem. I know that it will be durable and no glass carafes to break! Perfect.
This is my third coffee maker since we started RV ing 2 years ago and it's perfect. I'm a 2 large cup in the morning gal and this is the perfect size and the flavor is very good! The filters and water dispenser make it easy to use and I love that the carafe is unbreakable!
This coffee maker is super! I make just enough coffee for me without burnt or stale extras. I had a 4-cup version I bought at a garage sale 7 or 8 years ago and it worked well, so I thought: why not get another ? Well turns out sfter much searching that this coffee maker has an excellent reputation among small coffee makers - who knew
Nice little coffee maker for small countertops. Makes just enough for 2 people to have at least 2 -8 oz servings, or 5 -5 oz servings. It includes a Charcoal Water Filter to help filter tap water and permanent-style nylon coffee filter so you don't have to buy paper filters. Keeps coffee nice and hot for 30 minutes before auto shut off and the removable reservoir is well marked for easy filling and measuring of water. It's a nice unit for the value.
Takes up very little counter space. Just insert a paper filter, tea of coffee, add water, press power button. That's it. Easy to clean by removing filter inserts. Works perfectly.
Excellent coffeemaker ,coffee stays hot in thermal carafe..able to pour cup without drips while in process of brewing
I love everything about this product. But two things make it outstanding and way better than its competitors. First, this coffee machine uses cone-type coffee filters. I believe cone-shaped coffee filters brew tastier coffee than basket-shaped ones do. As far as I know, this product is the only one that has a cone-shaped coffee filter holder. I really love this feature. Second, this coffee machine has an amazingly light, high quality stainless steel carafe. I am mo longer worried about broken glass carafes. Its removable water tank is a great bonus. I will definitely buy it again.
When brewing coffee, the lid does not close tightly
I've owned several full size cuisanarts and quality was always outstanding. I bought this based on my experiences. It's a great coffee maker in every way but one. The caraffe, although metal, is lacking. It's not lined or insulated and it has this lip inside that prevents all the the liquid from draining out. It's just not typical of thier great caraffes.
The Cuisinart 5 Cup is average, it does the basic brewing but, it doesn't fill the room with the coffee aroma like I'm used to with my old Mr Coffee. ☕ Pouring hot water on a tea bag generates more aroma than brewing coffee with this Cuisinart ❓ I'd hoped that would change with time but, it hasn't. Too bad I didn't return it when I had the chance.
