<p>Coffee aficionados who wish to make all-time favorite specialty coffee drinks anytime at home need to look no further than the Breville Dual Boiler. This sophisticated espresso machine is equipped with precision temperature and heating controls to ensure consistently perfect results with every cup. At the very core of the Dual Boiler from Breville as its name hints is a stainless steel dual boiler. For optimal convenience, the machine features a top-fill 84-ounce water tank that's easily accessible and a dedicated hot water outlet makes it less time-consuming to preheat cups and prepare an Americano. With its sleek-looking, professional-grade design and reliable brewing performance, the Breville Dual Boiler converts virtually any kitchen into an at-home coffee bar! All it takes is some freshly ground beans and a bit of practice with the Breville Dual Boiler and you'll soon rival the best cafe in town!</p><h3>PID Temperature Controlled</h3><p>To maintain the precise temperature for the perfect espresso shot every time, the Breville Dual Boiler is PID ( Proportional Integral Derivative) temperature-controlled while a separate steam boiler offers powerful steam on demand instantly. This mechanism enables you to extract your shot at just the right temperature--producing maximum flavor, while you're steaming your milk to cafe-quality at the same time.</p><h3>Over Pressure Valve</h3><p>This sophisticated dual-action espresso maker features another key element in its arsenal of features that further manages its consistent system temperature. The Breville Dual Boiler employs an Over Pressure Valve (OPV) to limit the maximum pressure throughout the extraction and prevent bitter flavors in the espresso shot. For an even extraction, a true low-pressure pre-infusion gradually increases the pressure--which gently expands the grinds.</p><h3>Fully Programmable</h3><p>Coffee geeks will appreciate the fact that brew temperature, pre-infusion pressure, and duration are all programmable on the Breville Dual Boiler. You don't even need to be a professional barista to know how to use the Dual Boiler either--Breville made it user-friendly with simple features that make operation a breeze. The unit's Auto Start setting preheats the machine at a programmed time for you so you can brew espresso to go along with dessert after without even getting up from the table.</p><h3>Feature Packed</h3><p>The Breville Dual Boiler is the upper echelon of espresso making and is loaded with all of the bells and whistles that are found on machines in the best coffee houses. To help you improve your barista skills over time and perform cleanings when needed, this top of the line espresso machine incorporates a shot clock, pressure gauge as well as descaling function into its design.</p>

I bought this espresso machine with grinder which fantastic appliances. Great interior for kitchen and home. Tasty also perfect for me and my wife. Easy to make coffee and maintenance which is my first espresso machine. Highly recommend this beautiful Duo.
Coming from a professional coffee background I've been putting off buying an espresso machine for so long. Generally making espresso based coffee at home is difficult and super messy and not to mention inconsistent this machine eliminates that. The Dual Bolier is legitimately an amazing home espresso machine. Espresso extraction is easily manipulated and the milk texture it produces in café-quality. I got the black coating because it looks hot!!
After a lot of research the Dual Boiler was selection I made. I am a coffee lover and wanted the perfect machine to make my daily coffee at home, the 2 boilers allow me to pull the coffee and steam milk all at once. With the addition of the Breville Grinder this is perfection, it makes the best coffee and better than I could buy at any of my local cafes. I cannot recommend enough!
I've been a barista for many years and always wanted to have an economic, yet decent coffee machine for home. I tried some of the other domestic machines before and never was happy with them, until I found the new Breville Dual Boiler. What a dream, for the price is the best you can get, the coffee I managed to pull here is like any coffee pulled in a commercial coffee machine. Love it! Looking forward to a more sleek, simple and modern design of this machine to go with all our house aesthetics :)
I purchased my first Breville Dual Boiler in 2016, replacing a Sunbeam EM6910. After 8.5 years of solid use, it was a no-brainer to get another one :)
A machine which delivers what it promises. Powerful steam and quick heating time. Chose this over oracle as I wanted to invest in the breville smart grinder pro and later on an even better grinder. With that combo it took just a few shots to get the taste spot on. Really impressed with the built of the product. Front access for water and ergonomically well thought of minute details makes it a dream machine to use. Overall pretty happy with the purchase so far. Got the extended warranty for the peace of mind as well. Best dual boiler at the cost at which it is available. Thanks Breville!!
I have just purchased my second dual boiler espresso machine. My first one has lasted me for 10years with minimal issues. It works perfectly, from the programmable automatic start, so the machine is ready to go when I stumble out of bed, to the ease of the adjustments within the machine. I love that I can can the temperature of the pour and the time each pour lasts. I HIGHLY recommend this machine to anyone who asks about it. I have talked 2 family members into purchasing the same machine. It is the one machine in my kitchen that I can't do without!
BES920 makes beautiful coffee with its smooth and consistent froth. It is also a masterpiece in my kitchen now. My friends are all incredibly impressed and are eager to try my newly acquired coffee, which, because of this machine, made my many attempts at coffee art enjoyable. It also made a perfect housewarming gift for my best friend.
The Breville Dual Boiler (or BDB as it is affectionately called by the owners community) is a truly astounding machine. I was a barista for several years, and when contemplating a home espresso machine, wanted the best performance. This machine delivers at a fraction of the price tag of other machines, with supreme usability and excellent user interface! It's water tank is SO easy to fill, my shots are gorgeous and my milk silky. Its start-up time is what dreams are made of (just remember to heat the portafilter and turn cup for quick brewing). I also love the programable auto-on time. Packed full of features. I initially planned on upgrading but it's performance is so excellent that I'm not sure I will!
I purchased my Dual Boiler in 2017 (at half the current RRP) and it's still going strong in 2024. Highlights are the quick warm-up, std 58mm group, convenience/speed of dual boilers, PID temp control, and reliability after 7 years. I use VST 15g baskets (dosing around 19-20g) and have both std & naked breville-made portafilters. The pressure gauge died after a couple of years, but that doesn't impact anything. There's also some minor rust/blemishes on the 'splash-back', but again doesn't impact the coffee. Overall extremely happy with this purchase and strongly recommend.
