[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Seagate NVME as a replacement primary drive on my custom built gaming PC as I was experiencing longer than expected load time and computer crashes on my prior drive. This new drive being a Gen 4 drive has provided me with a substantial decrease in my load time and completely cut out all instances of stuttering. The drive itself has been extremely reliable in the month I run with it as well. I typically like to keep my computer on or on standby continuously and so far have not experienced any form of stability issues. The drive itself has a pretty robust heatsink included which I'm sure is helping to keep drive temperatures low during heavy gaming to maintain good drive health. The addition of the LED light plate with the lightsaber is also a nice touch and looks great shining through the clear side panel on my PC. I opted for the classic Luke Skywalker option but may switch to Darth Vader to better match the other red lights in my system. Overall great drive for gamers and Star Wars fans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is perfect for the Star Wars / Gamer in your life. First, the SSD is nice and fast. The load times have been great. But of course the reason we're all here isn't the SSD, but the light sabers. This is perfect for a custom PC with a nice Plexiglas panel on it. Its easy to hook up to power once you have it installed and the different light sabers are even easier to swap out. It pretty sweet to see the little light saber glowing inside the PC case, especially when playing a Star Wars game, like Fallen Order.

The SSD itself is super detailed and just looks great. The lightsaber lighting up is such a cool addition and just makes your computer build look modern and professional. If you have a clear tower it will definitely light up the room plenty. The fact that you could change out the faceplates of the SSD to feature either Obu-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader, or Luke Skywalker is just icing on the cake. You can even change the color of the LED Light Saber if your motherboard allows for it. The speed of the drive is perfect for my needs. It's fast and performance has been rock solid. I can't wait for my clear tower case to come in so I can show this bad boy off. I highly recommended the Lightsaber FireCuda for any build, especially for someone who loves Star Wars like I do. The documentation was helpful and the Seagate website has videos to walk you through the process step-by-step. I've been a Star Wars fan since the original trilogy so I was really excited to pick up this SSD. The interchangeable faceplates are a really neat addition and each one looks really detailed and movie accurate. My son was super excited once we got it installed and powered up. It looks amazing, is very fast, and now he has so much extra storage on his PC, which he really needed as a gamer and a college student. He hasn't played with the settings on his RGB lighting yet, so it's just cycling through the different colors but he likes it that way. Me personally, I would've got the color correct for whichever faceplate I chose but that's a matter of personal preference. I couldn't have been happier with how it turned out and the ease of installation. Excellent product for any Star Wars fan.
