Jan 29th 2016 we had a 30" Single Wall Oven 800 Series – installed under the counter along with a 30" Electric Cooktop Benchmark Series above oven. My kitchen needed an update after 20yrs. Love the looks of my new kitchen! The convection fan runs "very quite." I love the Convection Oven option. The Quiet Close Door Shut along with the Telescopic Rack are very nice features. I did a lot of research for this kitchen update and I am very pleased with my new Bosch Appliances.

Roasting is my preferred cooking method. I use our Bosch oven 4 or 5 times a week. It consistently gives good results. In addition, it achieves the desired temperature quickly and maintains it. Meats, fish, and vegetables cook thoroughly without getting dried out thanks to the very tight seal. The controls are intuitive and easy to use. Finally, the design is quite sleek and perfectly matches our minimalist kitchen.

I've never had an electric oven and was hesitant to purchase this one, but I must say it is great. Cooks evenly, quiet and attractive. Only tiny drawback I wish the the timers were a bit louder, especially for us older adults.
We bought this oven to replace the oven that was original to our 1965 house and we are so glad that we did. This is truly a wonderful oven. The controls are very self explanatory and does everything that we wanted it to do. The built in meat thermometer is a great feature too. We mainly wanted to comment on how easy this oven was to install. Using the instructions that were included we were able to do this completely on our own without any professional help. Additionally the ability to flush mount this oven is really a great feature. It looks so slick and was easy to do with a little modification of the existing cabinetry. Also given the cabinetry we could not go with a 30 inch oven and so we are just thankful that we could find such a great 27 inch oven. Overall we are so happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend this to any one. It is a great oven that looks great in any kitchen.
I've used this oven a few times since it was installed yesterday. Amazing! The temperature is accurate and stable. The user interface is very intuitive. So much so that I haven't cracked open the manual! The feature set is VERY impressive. Having used and owned a few wall ovens I can say none compare to my new Bosch HBN8451UC. The fit and finish are second to none!
My unit was just installed few days ago. The sleek appearance enhance the kitchen remodel. The. Touch screen feature was very easy to figure out without reading whole manual. We only try using the broiler last night and everything seems to function as expected. The touch screen work good but does not function as great as iPad or iPhone (sometime require full finger touch instead of tapping). Other than that it works as intended. I have not tried the cleaning function therefore I can't give it a five star.
Had the overn for less than 3 months and the glass door exploded in the cleaning mode. While we a very impressed with its cooking overall, there are serious safety concerns. Would have given this a +4 rating otherwise, but the question is - will it happen again. Hot glass exploding is a very serious matter and not something we would have expected from Bosch. Meanwhile we are down with no oven waiting for repair.
Looks great and we were looking forward to a long life together, but two weeks into service, the exhaust fan has died. The fan was so quiet to begin with we never even noticed when it did fail, except for the fact that the oven shut itself off with an error code E302 the night after we heard a pop and smelled something, but thought it was the microwave since that was running and the oven was already off but just cooling down. We splurged on this baby in hopes of avoiding quality/reliability issues but so far have been soured a bit with this early failure, and can only hope this is the only bug we will need to deal with.... Stuff can happen with even the best of products, but I just wish it wouldn't happen to us! I just hope the replacement part is available since this is a new model and we are without a major appliance...time will tell here I guess!
The overall oven performance (in terms of its basic functions of baking, roasting and self-cleaning) is pretty good. The trick is that after several years, you'll have to memorize the function and location of each of the metal buttons, since the paint from these rubs off and dissapears. This seems to be a major design flaw. I would not purchase this oven again due to this reason.
