I love having this! I like that it has a cutter built into it, it sits up even with the cricut to make it easier!

I have owned an Exlpore Air 2 and a Maker. The Maker I had worked fine. The only reason I upgraded was to be able to make projects with unlimited length. I tested out the roll holder when I first used it and I like it! It will definitely make doing longer projects easier. For smaller ones I will probably use mats as I don't want to waste vinyl.
The intended purpose was why I purchased the roll holder; however, it does not snap into place nor does it stay in place. I wish the slots on the bottom of the roller were truly lined up to the maker.
Like I said it works fine Only because it's not for the machine that I have if I had the right one. I think it would be perfect. Mine doesn't have the tracks to lineup with so I have to. Line up with the materials and just hope it Doesn't move and don't bump it.
What's useful about the roll holder: I have a limited crafting area and the holder helps keep my materials contained. It's got a cutter on it. It has grooves that fit easily onto ridges on the Maker 3. What's less useful: the cutter is awkward to use and doesn't add that much value. I'm not sure it's a good replacement for scissors or a basic Cricut cutter. The Maker 3 can feed a role of smart material without the holder. It's another thing to store when you're not using it.
This package was thrown in the middle of my driveway, and when I opened it, it is this toaster and not the item I ordered for my cricket. Please re-ship the correct item ASAP.
