Bought 3 walls for the 12x12 canopy. Was the best idea since the day of our party was sunny but windy. Also gave us some privacy since the party was in the driveway.
This item is a great addition to our 12x12 canopy. Provides sun & wind protection. Be sure to weight or stake the legs on the canopy or the wind might push it around more than with just the top.
We needed a wall to block the sun on our 12x12 canopy. This works great and is the best priced one out there. If you have a 12x12 canopy, this is a "must have" accessory for it. Ideally, you should order at least 2 or 3 of these, even 4 for complete enclosure. These help keep the rain off you, too! To respond to those negative reviews; No! This does not include the entire canopy. You're not getting a 12x12 canopy for twenty bucks. No! It is not 12' x 12' in dimension. It FITS a 12' x 12' canopy. No! Instructions are not included. Do they need to include instructions for attaching this onto your canopy? It couldn't be simpler to attach. The "little sticks" that come with it are stakes to secure the bottom edge to the ground if necessary. No! You cannot leave these canopies up on very windy days! They will blow away. This sidewall should have a five star rating by everybody!
We had a screened in gazebo style sun shelter that was blown down this past spring. When we replaced it we opted for something that would be easier to take down during inclement weather. When we found the Ozark trail we liked how large it was but adding this wall to block afternoon sun made it perfect.
Got this canopy for the beach and it's working out great! Awesome product not too heavy and 2 guys can set it up in less than 5 minutes. Easy and efficient.
We bought three walls to fit our Coleman 12x12 canopy and were quite impressed with the perfect fit as well as the mechanisms to attach them to the top and legs of the canopy. The carrying sacks that came with fits the walls perfectly and it was not a struggle to get them back in. Good thing Ozark Trail makes this since Coleman does not!!
We had purchased a 10 x 10 size from the same company and had been pleased with that unit - except for the size. So we bought this unit and returned the smaller one. We have great expectations for the summer to have a lot of use for this canopy. We have every confidence that the larger unit will be as strong and handy as the smaller one was. More to come.
I was looking specifically for some sort of privacy "wall" for my canopy and was even thinking of trying to make one myself when I found this. I'm so glad Ozark Trail came up with it, and it's wonderful to get instant privacy from the neighbors or just block the wind or sun. Very easy to attach to the canopy frame and easy to roll up and out of the way when you want.
The wall comes with 3 little metal sticks and no instructions on how to set up the sidewall. As a result, we could not use it at all and could not prevent the sun from slanting into the area beneath the canopy. What a joke! I would like my money back!
Of course, it would have helped if I had read correctly but the picture with the item suggests you are getting the whole deal, not just a piece of canvas to be a wall. Wasn't what I wanted or thought I was ordering at all. :(
