nice well made great price
I like them for crafting, they take paint and stain well
I put a couple of coats of polyurethane on the trays in this set (rather a nuisance: there are a lot of corners), but the application took well (very little glue residue of the sort that sometimes shows up when shellacking or varnishing bare wood pieces that have been glued together). The result looks good, and the trays are useful (e.g. under a toaster).
Very simple, nothing fancy, I'd probably base them prior to painting, but you could do a lot to dress these up. They're perfect for what I'm going to use them for - displaying handmade soap, and other bath and body products - so I'm quite pleased with them. And you can't beat the price.
Not as sturdy as I would have liked, but for the price a good deal. Better for decorative purposes than actual use as a carrying tray.
My trays turned out really nice after I painted them. The surface is very smooth and the design of the wood gives it a nice look when the paint dries. I would highly recommend them to others. Makes a nice serving tray.

Nice trays, that I will have to reinforce the bottoms to use. When held up to the light you can see just how thin the bottoms are. I'll be able to use them once I modify them, which can be done pretty easily. I'd be happy to pay a few dollars more for thicker bottoms. I love that they all nest inside one another...big plus for me. They are nice trays as far as looks go, just not very functional as a tray.
I wasn't expecting perfection for 18 bucks, but I can go to Michael's and get nicer, better made, dovetailed and rounded or curved handles , not only cheaper, but last me years!. Very disappointing as I painted all my nested trays to match a few trays my daughter made painting The Beatles logos on them and they're too nice to use. Now the trays don't match the Yellow Submarine logo rainbow colors. The incident which broke the tray was a slow slide down a few pillows while still on my bed.
