Love this stuff! Never streaks, never looks fake. Easy to use and a great price. I have used more self tanning products than I care to count; many of them high end. Nothing compared to Jergens ( who would have thought?) Always looks natural, no orange. It’s my favorite and I’m sticking with it.
LOVE this stuff. I put on after I shower but almost completely dry off(if my skin gets really dry I just add a bit of water in my hand with the lotion but honestly I don't think it's necessary). Then just spread it around and keep rubbing it in all over. The longer you do this the better it gets. It is a bit of a greasy feel but not bad more like moisturized, but like i said I use a lot of the product. I put on more than one application some days and it gets really a lot of color in just a day. It stays on fine with showers etc but if you go and soak in a pool or hottub it definitely will rub off with a towel if you rub vigorously because the color is in your top layer of skin. Thats why i do try and exfoliate before I put on. The color you get is really amazing and so fast so I just bring it along on vacation so I can keep reapply when I am in the water a lot. Then you don't notice the rubbing off.
I've used several bottles of the Jergen's tinted after shower lotion! I love it because I am very dry and I like the tint b/c my skin is older and covers them up a little bit. I do suggest when in shower remove as much water from your skin without using a towel. In the winter I pat myself with towel then use it. Also spend time rubbing it everywhere in the shower, just like self tanner it can streak. But don't use a mit.
This is an inexpensive way to keep a nice tan on your legs all winter long. It's actually a good moisterizer, so no extra lotion needed. I apply a thin coat immediately after a shower or bath - legs need to be damp - then give it time to set while I do other things before putting on pj's or other clothing. (It does take a while to set
THIS IS THE BEST DETERRENT I HAVE EVER FOUND THAT HAS GIVEN ME THE REAL DEAL SUBSTITUTE FOR TANNING!!!!! It's a buildable tan too and no streaks or mismatch coloring and no having to wait for it to dry and doesn't discolor or transfer to any clothing or towels or anything!!! Please buy this in lieu of tanning!!! Skin cancer is real and ANYONE can get it. Cancer of the skin can and will spread to other organs, tissues, blood, bones, etc QUICKLY because skin is an organ that COVERS EVERYTHING inside our bodies. I would have never given it up until they come out with this silly product but it's enough to fix my desire for good sun beached tanning.
Regular skin lotion -as much as I need it- is suffocating and feels like I'm wearing (ugh!) cling wrap. The Jergens Natural Glow Wet Skin Moisurizer doesn't have that effect on me. It could be due to pat drying my skin after lotion has been distributed, but for sure, it preferable to the heavier Daily Moisturizer. I'm a person who doesn't enjoy too much time in the sun. Yet, on day 1 of using the fair to medium skin tone lotion, already it's covered the blaring white tone of my legs. I don't ever expect to see a tropical tan but nor do I want to achieve it. I look forward to regularly using the Natural Glow Wet Skin product to keep my skin healthy lookiing!
I do like this product. It seems to make me a little orange which I don't remember the non-shower version doing but I just don't use it too frequently.
There are MANY factors that go into DIY self tanning at home with lotions, sprays, mousse, etc. The smell was actually pleasant, lasted longer and unlike the usual self tanning lotions. I absolutely loved the "wet application" part of it, and the no color rubbing off afterwards while patting dry, plus my smin had never been softer or shined more than after using daily. With that said, one application a day will not tan hardly at all. Two applications a day will tan you some what, but if not done correctly like first application that day, itll just wash off the next time you shower. I love Jergens products for the most part. If the color would get darker instead of very light, and actually darken to stay, this would be the best product by far.
