Excelent I use it for sweet 16 and wedding group shoots . Optical fiber glass and plenty of wide range went a little bit beyond my expectation.
Outstanding Lens!!! I have taken pictures in low lights as well as challenging lighting conditions. This lens have given me nothing less than breathtaking results. This picture was taken with Canon EOS 90D and Canon 17-40 f/4 lens: f/22 at 1/4 sec ISO: 100 and ND4 filter coupled with uv filter I wanted the vignette in the picture and that is why I had my filters stacked together.
I've had this lens for about 4 years, almost as long as I've owned my 6D. It is simply a great, versatile lens with no major flaws. As I have been riding in this journey of photography and learning all the ins and outs, I've always enjoyed trying to find those unique shots only a wide angle gives you. Now, using my M50 for Zoom, on a Viltrox Speed Booster, I use this lens for a fantastic webcam combo. I've been using this lens to vlog a bit, as well. Even though the M50 is a small mirrorless, it is still well balanced since this lens is so light.
Love this lens full view and great crisp pics. My pics come out even better with this lens.
This is the widest lens that I now own and it has surprised me at how versatile it is. The fact that it zooms to the sweet 28 and 35mm range means that you can use it for both large group shots and small group portraits. I'm using it much more than I expected I would.
This is a great lens with a very nice 17-40mm range. It takes crisp photos. I am very pleased with it.
I was looking for something that would be a nice lightweight carry lens for my 7d. I bought this right before a trip to the Biltmore house and it fit my needs perfectly and I was able to get some really great shots. It is much sharper then the 18-135 kit lens. I really have no complaints about the lens at all.
Wonderful lens for event photography. I recently did an outdoor event and this lens was the perfect lens for my all day shoot. I am so happy I finally pulled the trigger and purchased it.
Great value L glass lens. I got this lens to upgrade from my kit lens for my Canon Rebel T5. Just tested this lens out by taking exhibit hall and cosplay photos at San Diego Comic Con. Pros: The lens is relatively small and light weight, which was great for carrying around all day, and the color is fantastic. Cons: This lens does not have image stabilization and is definitely not as sharp at the widest aperture (f4), which means taking indoor photos with lower light results in very soft focus photos. Looking forward to trying this lens out for some landscape and travel photography in future!
Loved the camera but on about day 3 when cleaning the lens, I noticed a crack in the plastic, only small and didn't affect taking photos but obviously shouldn't have been there. Currently send back and waiting for refund. Disappointed as you expect if they individually inspected this wouldn't have gone unnoticed. Packaged well so would be very surprised if it happened in transit.
