This trimmer is a powerhouse which you can use for any small to the mid-size garden. It can cut through hard and tougher weeds and thick grass. It's lightweight enough to use it for a longer duration. The cordless feature allows you to take it wherever you need to get rid of the weeds. I love the ease of this Worx string trimmer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already have a Worx leaf blower with cord, and it works wonderfully. However, negotiating my way around patio furniture and plants with a power cord took a good bit of extra time. The 20V Power Share Cordless blower was the solution. It has plenty of power and is very lightweight, allowing me to get the job done in about half the time. I have a large lake deck and patio which requires my using two 20V batteries to finish. Of course, the Power Share feature allows me to use one of my drill or fan batteries to complete the job. I am quite pleased with this cordless leaf blower.

I bought this for myself for Christmas and it showed up a week later. My generic gas powered trimmer was heavy and caused me to lean and try to hold it up and cut, this caused back and leg strains. I charged it up and could not wait to try it out. My yard was a mess and I went to work. My neighbor told me it would take me weeks to get it under control. This trimmer went through the very large ornamental grasses like butter with no strain on my part. I trimmed bushes like a pro, I went to the Rose of Sharon trees and took them down to a 4 ft height. Lithrope was no match for my new blade. I went to the fences and took down the wild raspberry plants and wild grapevines, kiwi and butterfly bushes that were encroaching on the property. Many other plants were dried and hanging out in the flower beds and my trimmer definitely showed them who was the boss. I would reccomend this trimmer to anyone looking for Lightweight Dynamite. I am very pleased, and can't wait for spring so I can use it on the Rose bushes.
I love everything about this set! Everything is lightweight but strong enough to the work. The hedge trimmers and blower aren't as powerful as my corded, but good enough and the convenience and ease of use more than make up for it. The string trimmer makes it so easy to cut a straight line, which is something I've never been able to do. I'm actually excited to do my yardwork now HA! Batteries last a long time.
This is the second trimmer I have purchased from WORX. I am a 77 year old woman whose husband has dementia, so I have to do all the yard work. We have a large yard and many shrubs to keep trimmed. I would not be able to do all the yard work I have to do without my WORX tools that use the same batteries. I have loved my WORX tools.
Having bought this previously I can tell you the batteries dont last very long but it's pretty well built.
I purchased a the product over a year ago, with my first product the unit cracked at the handle, rendering the unit useless. Contacted support last summer and they replaced the unit. The replacement unit was used last fall and this spring and has also cracked at the handle and been rendered useless. This product does not have durability and will break. I do not recommend wasting money on something that is obvious why they only have a year warranty as it only lasts a year.
I have had several pieces of this brand and it is easy for me to use and I like using it, but I ordered this three piece set and it came with the box. All tore up and taped back together like it had been opened. I'm not about to keep it in that shape. I've calls Walmart twice abt this and they keep telling me to wait 48 hours 48 hours. Well it's been five days and I want this replaced immediately and I want some credit back. I'm not spending that much money and I'm certainly not going to open it and then be accused of me tearing the box open. Take care of it Walmart.
Just poor quality...the twin is garbage and splits shreds...it's a coil type not straight line..WORST of all the blade to cut the line failed...the screw to hold it in is there but the spring steel cutter itself is MIA. Shatterd into pieces..poor quality stuff...yes lightweight and like the twist feature to use wheels...
