Easy to put together and it’s sturdy and nice looking.
EASY to put together, EASY for one person to lift. Bought one in 2019 and came back for more! :)
The foundation was well-packaged and arrived in excellent condition. The assembly was quick, very simple. I like the grey colored cloth covering over the side and end pieces and how there are 12 slats that are enclosed in a cloth covering, six slats each. It took five minutes to assemble. This is a well-made, solid and stable foundation. I am very pleased with the quality.
We have had a normal pillow top maters with a box spring for 15 years. Our bed was high (at the top of our footboard) and we like it that way. I wanted to still be able to climb into bed- and not sit to get into my bed. The frame is great and helped us achieve that goal. Our bedroom furniture is also distressed gray and the box frame goes well with our theme.
Easy to set up.
Great looking foundation that looks expensive and provides a great base for the mattress.
This foundation gives good support. I like that the boards are closer together and flat - I have found that better than some of the cheaper, metal rungs that are far apart. I took off 1 star since I had to struggle a bit with fitting the boards into the Velcro. I felt if it was just a tiny bit wider I could have managed easier - as it was it felt like 1/10” and it would fall on the floor - barely fit into the bars.
Unimpressed with the box. The slats seem flimsy but it was easy to assemble at any rate. I hoped, by replacing my traditional king boxspring, that the mattress would sleep better. I feel like I am going to roll out of bed and assumed it was the boxspring 's fault. Nope, turns out my 2 year old mattress does not have enough body to support the edges. Hence feeling like you are going to roll out of bed. I now realize they have an updated mattress with firmer edges.
The frame was simple to put together and well made but it does not fit the T&N twin mattress. The mattress overhangs by a few inches on every side and also slides around easily. When using this for a toddler, both of these things make me want to return it...
I think there needs to be a clarity on the difference between box springs and box foundation. This is just a queen size box. I wouldn't put anything on top of it, the slats are placed with velcro. Not at all what I thought I was getting.
