I have purchased this many times. Love that it is organic, natural and does not contain sugar. Great for baking, homemade hot chocolate and mocha coffee, and adding to smoothies. It is a super-food with protein and minerals!
I mix this with whey protein to make smoothies. This cocoa is smooth and creamy after blending. Making delicious protein shakes everyday. I love this stuff.
Purchased this with 3 other products to create a very healthy FAT BURNING SMOOTHIE that I take every morning to rev my 50 year old metabolism. I also add wheatgrass, spirulna, matcha green tea and an excellent protein powder and I am off to an amazing start to my day. The cocoa makes it taste rich and chocolaty without a chalky texture or taste. I also add chocolate almond milk. A must for everyone to try! This Navitas Naturals product is the real thing. It is the pure Cacao Powder with no additives, sugar or chalky taste. I put about a tablespoon in a mug, add hot water and then add a teaspoon of raw organic honey. Excellent heart healthy drink that takes the place of the processed hot chocolate that I used to consume, great product.
Great quality Price beat local grocer periodically. Will try another brand as this price has fluctuated and Navitas Naturals needs some competition. They are all over the place as the "cocao of choice" [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
The one I received did not have the same ingredients that I asked for only 116 potassium 1mg Iron no mg of magnesium showed. Should have been 300 mg potassium 2mg Iron plus magnesium.
When the order arrived all the items in the box were covered in the dark powder. After careful examination of the bag we found a slice along the top where the powder was allowed to escape. Had to toss away what remained in the bag and clean all the other items before using. Maybe if the product was inserted in another bag it would not have been such a mess but the product would still have escaped. In addition this product is much more expensive than other quality brands.
