The beauty of this canopy is that you can put it up, and take it down and store it away in it's carrying case. However, we bolted it down to the deck, where it has withstood daily wind, rain and full sun. I pinned up the canvas corner fabric to look like the photo and has a real decorative look to it. We placed our table underneath and enjoy entertaining under our canopy. We'll put it away for the winter and enjoy it again next year!
This canopy is just what we needed for some shade in our backyard. It is a good size, very attractive, can be private and easy to set up and take down. Perfect.
I bought two of these and placed them by my swimming pool. They are as beautiful as the picture. I have a bar under one side and a dining area under the other. Just weigh them down! I screwed mine to pressure treated 2x4s, because I didn't want to screw into my concrete. These are so worth the money. I want the 4x4 changing room but it keeps selling out. If you want a canopy that has a WOW factor, this is it! Good luck and enjoy your summer!!!
Our deck gets a lot of sunlight and can be pretty brutal in the summer months. This is a great alternative to the retractable awning. It sets up in less than 10 minutes and looks beautiful. I would not suggest keeping this up all the time, but for parties it is perfect.
Easy to put up, need at least two or more people to put it up in the time they claim it will go up. Once up, looks very sharp! Lots of room and plenty of shade. If you are looking for a tent for the beach, this is not for you. Does not hold up well to high winds; used at OBX - not good! Stick with tents made for the beach that are low to the ground.
Its kind of fragile. I put it up and screwed it into my deck and it lasted the whole summer fine. Even on some windy nights. Don't think you can put this up and down every day cause it will break.
My husband put this canopy up for me, and a little wind came and blew it and broke the leg, we fixed the leg and put it up again, screwed it to the porch, and the wind blew a little again and twisted the canopy and broke one of the legs again, I will be taking this product back!!!! I haven't even been able to enjoy it but twice in 5 months, because it has been broke more then it has been up. this canopy is not worth even $15.00 at the most.
