[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Dixon Economy #2 pencils arrived in time for the start of second semester of the school year and one can never have too many pencils! These pencils sharpened effortlessly, no point breakage in the sharpener, and has a smooth flow to them while writing. These outrank others I've used because usually the point breaks in the sharpener and by the time you have a decent point, half the pencil is gone and these are the total opposite! Very dependable and excellent quality!! Definitely recommend whether you're a student or a teacher or just need to have pencils around. You won't be disappointed!!

I get so frustrated with pencils that break easily with erasers that give out after a few times of use. These are definitely worth the price. I use them to take notes at my new job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am currently a full time student and I have a 7 year old that attends elementary school that just love to draw and has tremendous homework. These Dixon Economy #2 Soft Yellow Pencils are perfect. They are smooth to sharpen and the eraser is clean and effective. The packaging is simple, yet attractive. The pack came with 12 pencils therefore it will last me and my son quite a long time. We are both very pleased with the results.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Today my children and I used our Dixon Economy #2 Soft Yellow Pencils to write in our journals. I truly enjoy writing with a Dixon Pencil. Made of real wood it is comfortable for me to grip and write with for long periods of time. I like how smooth the graphite comes out on to the paper as I write my words. When I make a mistake and need to erase it, it is very easy to do. The eraser is durable and sturdy. It does not smear or rip my paper as I erase. The pencil is easy to sharpen and stays in tact, the graphite does not fall off or break as you sharpen it. Dixon is my number one choice in pencils for myself and my children.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great set of pencils. They sharpen really well and writing with them is a breeze. They do not seem to break easily, which is a plus. These yellow number 2 pencils are also made from real wood. I Would recommend these and get them again myself.
Good pencils. The color and hardness are good for me. They sharpen well too.
The Dixon No. 2 HB pencil is reasonably good, however the eraser is terrible. It's hard and just makes a large blob on the paper. I am constantly making changes to orders so having a good quality eraser at the end of the pencil is a must.
I never write reviews, but I feel this needs attention. I am an art teacher and sharpen a lot of pencils. About 1 out of 5 Dixon brand pencils sharpen correctly. The rest sharpen just half the tip and most of the time the lead falls out. I am very disappointed because I have a tub of Dixon pencils that I cannot use.
