This machine is amazing. Took a minute to get my tension figured out. And a couple different movements as far as domestic machines. Absolutely love it. Sewing through leather and patches like a dream.
Fast delivery. Perfect packaging. Quality of machine and table far better than my older 8700.
I purchased a Juki DDL 8700 H through the Walmart app cheapest price I could find on a heavy duty industrial sewing machine
This machine is amazing! Came I assembled but with the help of YouTube videos and the shippers help it was assembled in about 4 hours. It sees beautifully and came with everything you need to get started. Such a step up from my domestic! I test sewed through about 6 layers vinyl and made a memory bear in half the time it used to take me. The stitches are beautiful and the motor speed can be adjusted to as fast or as slow as you need. Its a dream to work on and I love it. Don't hesitate and get this machine you will thank me later.
The order process went very smooth 2 days later the machine was delivered the seller called me the next day and offered to assemble the machine for an additional $80 dollars which is a very good price I consider myself kinda handy so I decided to do it myself but it took me a couple of hours mainly cause there's no instructions on how to put the table or the machine together. The machine itself is well packaged the table not that much so it arrived with some damage in 2 areas I'm trying to find the way to contact the seller but overall the machine is really nice. I'm not a professional at sewing but looking forward to try it out.
I'm quite unhappy with how the product arrived, how it was packaged, and how it was handled during shipping. The order was shipped in three separate boxes. Each one of the boxes was damaged. The box where the sewing machine itself was shipped was damaged to the point where the inner insulated foam was broken and parts of the machine where dented or bent. Also, the table itself had some dents and a gouge on the top of it. Also, the product did not include ‘Assembly Instructions'. This is a huge foul! In the description of the item on your website says, “Assembly Required”. Why were no instructions sent with it? We now must rely on searching the internet to find the assembly instructions ourselves. Lastly, after finding assembly instructions online, compared to the tables we saw from other individuals that own the same product, we noticed some issues with our table. Our table is made from plywood, which is fine. But the underside of the table and the areas that were cut, where the sewing machine will go, are still very rough. The edges nor the underside were sanded. So we'll have to be very careful to not end up with splinters on our hands while assembling it and while using it. Some of the tables we've seen online look to be made with a different type of material (MDF, Melamine, etc.), or the underside was covered with veneer. Which made them not only look nicer, but also remove the probability of ending with splinters in the user's hands. I'm hoping that we have no issues while assembling it and/or while using it.
My motor came broken!!! I have set up the table before bringing out the motor to set up, only to ring out that it is broken
I don't particularly mind the machine isn't as others I've seen/used. For the price, i wasn't expecting a brand new machine with everything perfectly in tact. What i was disappointed with is the lack of instructions. As mentioned in another review, the video online is different than the one received. Ill end up figuring it out I'm sure but buyers beware, if you're not a sewing tech or familiar with machinery, this is a challenge. Not for the person who wants a easy set up/complete machine. if you're looking to save a few beans however this might be the option for you as new these typically go for 900
Where do I start. Horrible packaging. When we opened the package containing the table all the pieces were shifted everywhere bc nothing was properly pack. We are missing important pieces that we cannot even put the table together. Then I was sent the wrong model - I ordered a delivery 8700-H and was sent a 8700. Call the phone nbr listed for the seller and no one picked up. Had to send a message that may or may not be answered in 48 hours. When something cost this much seller should make a bigger effort to get the order correct to the customer in the first place. Stay away.
The table top arrived with the laminate chipped at the edges! This not a manufacturing process problem it was shipping problem. The top was bearly protected in the box! Cheap plastic pieces (pictured) to "protect" the top corners. I am waiting to hear from the seller! This should be replaced for free, no cost to me!
