This block stays dry and doesn't get that soupy, sweaty, soggy feeling that many UPF products do. It may be a bit dry when applied, but as soon as your skin perspires a bit, it "evens out". If your skin is always thirsty or you live in a dry climate you might prefer the UPF Argon block. But this is certainly great for the middle of the country where oppressive heat is perpetually flirting with over the top humidity.
Finally a zinc based sunscreen that doesn't leave you with white patches or streaks! I have allergies to most sunscreens but this one is so gentle, I did not react at all. I am extremely happy with this product! It goes on so easily and disappears right away, unlike any other natural sunscreen I have used. Also, it is perfect for wearing under makeup and there is no scent to it at all. Love it!
This sunscreen is so light and easy to apply. It smells good too. I have had no skin reaction and it works well under makeup. Ingredients are wonderful and I feel good knowing that I am not putting toxins on my skin but I am protecting my skin from further damage.
I purchased this when it was apart of the sale of 10$ items, but I was not able to try this out until a few days ago. I'm really sensitive to sunscreen, and I thought this might be one that wouldn't cause me to break out in a rash. Sadly, the next day after application, my whole body, to include my face, broke out in the worst rash I've ever had using sunscreen. I don't know what it is I'm allergic/sensitive to, as I've not always been like this. I can use products with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, so it can't be that. I may try the sun sticks, as the ingredients appear to be less chemical in nature. I love 100%pure, but maybe you guys could invest in a sensitive skin line? That's why I went “natural” to begin with, yet I rarely find products that actually cater to such. I leave four stars, because it might be a good product, but it's just not right for me.
I was skeptical of a natural spray SPF, but this one is stunning. I used it on my face at the beach and didn't get burned. The texture is light and not sticky. I sprayed directly onto my face and then on my fingers to then apply to my shoulders. I did not go into the water. So for me this sunscreen is a winner and most of all, it's natural, and will not harm me or the reefs. My husband on the other hand, sprayed it all over his face and body and DID go into the water and he was very powdery white when he got out. He DID NOT get burned but he did look like the 90's movie "Powder". I personally think it s small price to pay for being safe in the sun, and having a spray that goes on easily (bc if it did't he wouldn't wear it) that is safe. I was really surprised by the spray and will continue to use it.
I've used this once for a short hike. It's not like other spray on sunscreens. You still need to rub this in. But it rubs in easy and smells good. You don't feel gross inhaling after you spray. It is expensive though. I was expecting a larger bottle.
I have tried just about every natural sunscreen on the market, and none of them have worked. This one worked the best: I did not get burned after 2 applications during an 8 hour day working on a small boat in direct sunlight. However, I was a white pasty mess the whole day. Unfortunately, it was very thick, white, sticky, and does not rub in very well. The spray does not uniformly cover your body either. I do not want to look white from sunscreen. The can lasted about 3 days of 2 applications per day- hardly worth its horrendously expensive price. Luckily, I bought it on a $15 deal. Still disappointed overall.
I don't understand the positive reviews of this product. I used this sunscreen on 2 occasions for my family of 5 before it ran out. Definitely not worth the price tag at that rate! It is effective, though I don't love that you still have to rub it in, seems to defeat the purpose of using a spray.
I was eager to try this product but disappointed. The product comes out white and thick so you have to rub it in. I ordered this mainly to use on my toddler and wasn't expecting to have to rub it in. Applying to her face caught me off guard and wasn't a happy situation. Says it is water resistant for 80 minutes but I reapplied before then because I noticed my daughter's arm starting to turn pink. Too expensive for what you get in my opinion.
I like and use many 100% Pure products. But this sunscreen leaves a white cast even though I tried to work it into my skin. It just makes my face not very pleasant to look at. I loved the Argan Oil Sunscreen, which has been discontinued. I get compliments on how nice my skin looks when I wore the organ oil sunscreen. It was by far the best natural sunscreen I have tried and I have tried many. I wish 100% would bring the Argan oil Sunscreen back. I went on the 100% Pure website for Germany and Germany still carries the Argan oil Sunscreen. But since I don't read German. I am not sure if they do international shipping to the U.S. If shipping to U.S. is possible, I would order 10 of them.
