I am an assembly person and installer. If you do not have some skills and tools then I suggest you hire someone to put this together for you. It comes completely dismantled. Assembly time for me was just short of three hours. The dresser is well made for the price. If you want hand made quality then go buy it somewhere else for a whole lot more money. This is mostly solid wood construction with very little particle board pieces. The fasteners are real threaded screws; not that IKEA snap together garbage. All I would ad is that you inspect the carton it ships in to make sure it was not damaged during transport. The paperwork inside clearly states how to handle issues, although I had no problems. The instructions are a little sketchy to the inexperienced, and even I had to backtrack once during construction. Overall it is a great piece for a great price. Just be ready to build it if you buy it.
Great quality for price. This comes in several pieces so be prepared to roll up your sleeves, but it is worth it!
The dresser came and had some scratches on the sides....called Walmart and they gave me a choice to have it picked up and replaced or get a discount on the damaged one.....I like the options they offered. The people I talked to were very nice, respectful, and helpful.
This dresser is nice and sturdy. It's just that assembly is very complicated. It took good 2 hours for 2 people to work on it. Couple of knobs didnt fit so we glued them to the doors
This products instructions were terrible. They missed several steps so i had to go back and take things apart several times. It definitly took a good 2.5-3hrs to assemble. Also the allen wrench supplied stripped out before i was able to assemble the entire dresser. This dresser finished does look very nice and seems to be a good quality for the price.
This Graco double dresser was not a quality item. The bottom back rail was broken so we returned it. Graco should pack this product better so that the pieces don't break. Could not even put this together with a broken part.
We never actually used this dresser, this review is only on the ordering experience. We picked this dresser because we wanted to match the cherry Graco furniture we had already ordered and it looked nice on the web site. Under the assembly required section it said "no" which was appealing and indicative of higher quality. Unfortunately when it arrived it was clear a great deal of assembly would be required. We returned it and bought one elsewhere. Again, the dresser may be a great product. I can't say I wouldn't recommend it. Wal mart just needs to fix the description on its web site.
Will never purchase another Graco furniture piece. Poorly constructed and doesn't go together properly. Had to order four replacement pieces and those came with a whole new set of problems, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
Espresso is actually a deep red and does not match the crib. Quality is very poor. Instructions are more jackson pollock than helpful - seriously, make the manual 10 pages to segment the various order of steps, pass the extra .08 of cost to us. I am at a point where I have a large flat piece (#10) and no clue where it is to be attached to the frame. No pre-cut holes anywhere to match. Internal components were also mislabeled (i.e., 6 & 9). Do not purchase. We are returning this and will move away from the Graco brand.
