My 8 year old has gastritis. She takes 1 Antacid early morning 45 mins before breakfast. The stomach pain usually comes around noon after lunch. She takes 2 tablets of Mylicon and 5 mins later, the pain is gone. For the next hour, you will expect to get some gas release ere and there. Overall, I'm very happy with the effect of this product and will continue to use it until she's back to normal.
