Vicks is a product my mother used on us Children. Whether or not so it has medicinal effects is irrelevant. It is definitely a comfort medicine. I used it on my children and they continue to use it on theirs. For myself, the traditional scent is a little strong. I was excited to try the lavender scent when my granddaughter told me about it and it did not disappoint.
