So far has worked great and was easy to install
Fit perfectly to replace the old one. Arrived with slight damage on front grille cover upper left corner, hoping to get a replacement part.
Arrived in good shape and it works great

Have three already and am pleased with their performance.
As one would expect from LG - quality. Yes, you pay a tad more than the less reliable brands but it is certainly worth it for a longer lifespan. And I love the easy access filter in the front and the automatic return to "On" after a power outage (we experience frequent short outages). And of course best of all - it puts out icy cold air! :)
Noisy in many ways. Had to turn off at night in order to sleep. High fan difficulty hearing. Tinny noise at times and a loud thump when compressor cuts on and off. Whistling noise at times as well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this air conditioner for not even a year and a half and it works great to cool my room down but it leaks into my room instead of out side. I have to leave a bowl under the ac where is drips and dump the water every 30 min to an hour depending on how much water comes out. I have made sure the ac was leveled I even put a piece of wood u see it on the inside of my house to hold it up so I know the water should not be coming out this end.
This thing makes a lot of funny noises of which the manual tells us is just fine. So for that price you'd think there wouldn't be that type of noise. My last 8k btu AC would cool the room down the temperature set on the AC but with this one it's 2 degrees F warmer than the temperature you set.
