About 3 times after placing this sheet on her bed. I really like the butterflies, and how it's not super basic uniform patterned. Packaging says it's 100% cotton, and it feels like a normal, run of the mill sheet. It's not particularly soft or anything like that. It washed well, and I didn't notice any color bleed after the first wash.
