Not as expected which is my fault for not paying enuf attention to the description. On line the candles looked like Mercury Glass which is what I was looking for, so my bad. Very glittery for sure & substantial in size. Red is very pretty but these candles are not for me. I am keeping, especially given the sale price I paid. I rated 3 stars for OK, my rating is not based for my lack of attention to description.
