I was looking for an outdoor seating set for my balcony that I could eat at, had cushions and arm rests. This set was well over $100 less than any other that even remotely looked like it so decided to order and hoped for the best. Well, they came and I am SO pleased! The table is more than adequate for a small breakfast plate, tea, tea pot and my laptop in the morning. The chairs are pleasant to look at (simple brown, but for brown, nice!) and very comfortable. The only glitch was one of the table legs was waaaaaay off (not at a corner like the rest), then realized, I could easily slide the piece that the leg attached to into the correct position, and then it was perfect! I doubt if you threw the set off a fifth-story roof or took a sledge hammer to it, it would hold up, but under normal, kind usage, I believe this set is going to last me for years from what I can tell so far! Could not be happier! BTW, the screws and everything came in packaging which was so clearly labeled. Each chair had its own set of parts and the assembly was super easy except that one glitch and that was easy enough to resolve!
I was expecting this set to be more difficult putting together based on other reviews, but I didn't have a problem at all! And I put it together by myself too!! Looks lovely on my front patio. Love that the table is elbow height for sipping coffee in mornings. Can't wait till it gets warmer so I can use daily. Great affordable price. Get one!
I was impressed with the quality of this set, especially considering the low price. It's very sturdy. I bought it because the chairs will support up to 500 pounds each. It went together relatively easily. The hardware was well packaged and the pieces easy to identify. I like the way the cushions snap into place -- it will take a really strong wind to dislodge them. I definitely recommend this set and am considering purchasing another one for myself.
I shopped around for a while before buying this set- I was being very picky. I wanted something with some quailty but didn't want to pay much. Several of the other reviews on this product said it was hard to assemble, but I didn't have much trouble. My advice is to read the directions carefully and DO NOT tighten any of the screws and bolts before it is all assembled (the directions do make a point of telling you this). Also, the first step when you connect the seat to the chair back, the posts appear not to line up, but I think they just want to make them secure, so I just lightly laid the piece on top and used a hammer to pound them together. All together, it took about 1 hour to assemble (and I had a toddler getting in my way the entire time). It looks really nice on my patio, isn't too large, and is very sturdy and easy to move around. Very pleased for the price!
Product came right on time. We are so glad we purchased this as we have sat on our balcony every night. Not hard to put together at all. Instructions are an easy read.... DID NOT TAKE 4 HOURS TO PUT TOGETHER. .. I don't know why it would take that long. Overall great product..
But I have to say, putting it together was a total pain in the butt. Had to really pull and bend the metal pieces to line up to the holes. I couldn't have done it without my husband! Otherwise, very nice basic set and worth the money! Just have someone strong on hand to help with the assembly.
got this for my small front porch..fits beautifully...dosent come with the red pillows shown(probably said that somewhere and I just didn't see it)assembly was pretty easy, one of the cushions had a blemish on it, called the # on the instructions and they are sending a new one, very easy and simple fix to that problem...its a very comfortable nice looking set with a nice sturdy table..definatly recommend
I was thrilled to see the listing with a 500 lb. rating as my husband is a large man. When the set arrived the tag on the chair says 250 lb. capacity. NOT as advertised. The chairs are comfortable for me and the small table is nice for morning coffee. The cushions attach well and the brown/black does not distract the eye when looking past them at the view.
I bought this patio set about a month ago and was skeptical to do so because of the reviews. I got it anyways because I couldn't find a better price anywhere else. It was a total pain in the butt to put together. The legs on the chairs wern't lined up at all. After an hour of putting it together it ended up looking pretty desent for a $119 patio set. It's not the most sturdy set but it does the job and fills up space on my huge balcony.
I wanted something a little nicer and less bulky to set out in front of my house than the big red cushion-covered chairs that fit into the scenery better in the back yard but I didn't want to spend a fortune either. These had everything I was looking for but they do feel a little cheap- the quality is reflective of the price.... which is fair but disappointing...
